Dustin Martin

As crazy as it seems, Dustin Martin continues to fly under the radar this season.

He is averaging 22.6 disposals, 1.1 goals and 7.0 score involvements per match this season, which are elite individual statistical numbers at the game’s highest level.

Fox Footy said Dusty is ranked 2nd in the comp. only behind Toby Greene in that forward/mid role.

He has had a very good season but frustratingly has had a lot ‘almost but not quite’ moments…. today though he was the real Dusty of old. He looked really switched on….best since the glory years. Hope he can keep it going.

It doesn't say rested, it says soreness.

Given his injuries last year, it makes sense not to play him off a 5 day break if he's sore.

He hurts himself badly then it doesn't matter if we make finals.

Conversely, if we can't beat the bulldogs without him, we don't deserve to make finals.

Inverse Conversely, it will be a pretty impressive win when we beat the Doggies without Lynch, or Dusty, far and away our best and most important players.

This is actually one of the best balanced line ups all year.

The 4 best ins we've had all year.

Dusty is a massive out, but Shorty is just as important to the way we play.

Cumbo and Bauer are huge ins for our fire-power.

And Nank is Nank.

I reckon we win by 6 goals plus, and Dusty gets a break.

I’m with you all the way, but 6 goals worries me. We are only winning small..

Bookmark this Coburg.!

Would love nothing more but the Dogs have been hammered a bit in the press this week…and

Why did they train at the Dump today ( run ) and we didn’t ask??

That’s right. We hate playing there !! ( tongue in cheek with emoji wink ).
