Dustin Martin

If we get through this week strong chance he will be suspended by the AFL for a week or 2. It’s not the actual act, it’s the political corner the AFL has put themselves in and then being forced to act by every little grievance monger out there who will be given media attention.

What the? he has buckelys and none getting suspended. It's a stripper at work, she's topless. They have at a guess negotiated what is allowed. i.e touching above waist.
She didn't bat an eyelid over it. It's been 5 years, she didn't make any complaint, she didn't have any issue over it. She looked very content.

Tom Browne should lose his AFL accreditation for putting this girl's face all over social media. A lot of the girls work and their families don't even know. Some do it to pay off courses or uni fees. What if she is no longer stripping, has a BF or is married perhaps has a child, the scum bag Tom Browne doesn't care about her or dusty or anyone only cares about clicks on his article

Hope you are right, but feel the PC crowd will put so much pressure on th AFL to do something. There is blood in the water and all these little groups will see the opportunity to get media coverage and boost their profiles. That it is a high profile AFL player so much the better as the end game is to take down the biggest person/group possible regardless of what's happened. Basically it is a game with the outrage being entirely confected. Unfortunately I have come into contact with a few people who do this for a living. Honestly they are the most grotesque people you could ever meet but they wield power far beyond what they actually contribute to society which is nothing. And that is why I expect a fine/suspension/suspended sentence.
Tom Browne is a total laughing stock, no one in the industry takes him seriously.

Once the truth of Chopsticks became clear the story died the quickest death ever.
Dusty's apology was to make the whole thing go away, had nothing to apologies for.

Just like the media pile-on after kebab gate, this will give us extra motivation to ram it up the media's clacker and go all the way and win the :cupgold

Funny is it not that this age old story comes out on the eve of our Elim. final.
Anything to distract from Richmond being a winner of a EF.

I saw Dustin on Monday afternoon and he knew it was about to make the press then. He's disappointed his family has to go through it but accepts he made a mistake and has moved on and learnt from it. This has been around for a long time so it is really old news to him.
Interesting. In Melbourne, it's normally not that hard to get this stuff before it goes public but no one I know had seen it before it went public.

I don't want to know the name but is Dusty aware of the individuals who put it out and why?

The media do ignore stories all the time, it is a choice to publish. Clearly good click bait but the choice to publish is a choice.

I figure the club knew about this years ago and likely already dealt with the issues it raises. To bring this up years later when the player in question hopefully has learned from this serves no purpose other than a bit of sensationalism.

DS
U r correct DS - I did not see any media coverage of the disgusting "social media" comments made recently about MJR and Marlion after the Essendon game. Media CHOSE not to even mention what was readilly available on social media that time..

Carro knew all about it days ago as did the Tigers. Well according to our resident Carro anyway, TBR.

If the lady in the video didn’t give consent to be filmed or for the video to be “ distributed “, I hope she goes after and sues the *smile* out of those involved in videoing and releasing it
It was 7 years ago FFS! She has probably moved on with her life and I very much doubt wants her now BF, Hubby, Family, Inlaws or Kids knowing anything about her past.

I can't stand pricks like the permanently outraged tools on SEN who think their moral compass is a guide for all of society. A bunch of fun police and Karen's the lot of em.

She'll be a lot more upset by the footage and also the 50 media campaigners inc the AFL now trying to track her down than Dusty copping a feel.

Yeah those in clubland might off known but there's a potion of us mug punters that normally get the stuff before it breaks.

No one I knew in the public had it.

Perfectly timed distraction for whoever wanted it out there.
Pretty sure the club will treat it in the correct manner regardless of how the AFL media want it run.
Ben and Peggy will stand up for what is right.

Has Karen Cornes asked Dimma to stand down but at the same time say that Ken Hinkley deserves another 23 yrs??
