Dustin Martin

Interesting from Jack on 360 that (I'm assuming the leadership group) words were had to Dusty when he was in his early season slump that they needed him to stand up. Well he's done that and then some since. Credit to him and long may it continue because at his best he is our best.

Another cameo performance from Martin in such an important game.
Needs to present at elite level far more consistently than he does.

Still managed 11 contested possessions (best was Grigg with 13). Ball wasn't ging his way last night but it wasn't from a lack of effort.

Am willing to give Dusty some slack, he didn't have a good one but at least he competed.

Hmm my guess gets most of his brownlow votes against inferior opposition. Not convinced he will be a match winner in a finals type cauldron. I would love to be proven wrong but while Hardbrick is coach we wont be playing finals again.

credit where credit's due, cuntington and zeibel are A-grade toughs

Ziebel should've been in Richmond colours. Another drafting blunder
The list continues to grow
Lynch instead of Conca
Carslise instead of Griffens
A cupboard cutout instead of Ellis

You forget Heppell?

Not kicking as much as previously and not hitting the scoreboard either (4 goals).
Despite having a pretty good season statistically, these two weapons are notably down.
