He had 20 or so until half time, not sure why there is universal love and admiration for Cotchy or Lids when Dusty does the same thing and gets the snide backhanders. Perplexing, it must be the ugly duck syndrome. We have people making fun of his vocabulary, his dad, his kicking...

I've been plenty critical of Cotchin when he hasn't played well. The game isn't purely about stats and Dusty's first half was pretty ordinary despite the numbers. Even his coach said as much, perhaps you should watch the game again.

Rubbish, it was Dusty's manager shopping him around as I recall. Dusty was clearly uncomfortable with this so GWS passed.

Then the other 17 clubs are dickheads because they should've picked him up. With Hannebury he is the in form mid in the comp today.
Wake up. Every club had the chance to pick him up because of Richardsons childish *smile*

Didn't GWS ask him who his biggest footballing influences have been and he answered quick as a flash, "Trent Cotchin & Damien Hardwick".

And to their credit, the GWS responded "Well what are you doing here then?".

He's a different cat, he's going to have bumps in the road. Not everyone is Trent Cotchin or Corey Ellis. But every footy club needs those different individuals and his footballing exploits right now make him in the top handful of players going around. On form, he's top 5 right now.

DR cops whacks for almost losing good players now? Does that mean he gets kudos for almost getting good players too? didn't think so. Ridiculous.

As the saying goes the proof is in the pudding. He is a richmond player and he has signed again since that episode.

I would be willing to put money on him being a Tiger for life

mmm Dusty did say @ the JDM or a season launch, cant remember which , that it was he & not Carr that instigated it, mainly because his Dad was up there

You've gotta laugh don't you. Some might say that he almost lost Rance as well.

I know we haven't landed any big fish and Dan has to wear the responsibility for that but to bag him for keeping a gun player at the right price, well that's just OTT.
