Another club?

Another offer that's ridiculous?

Not ideal situation transpiring.

Nothing's happened. Dusty has always said he will wait until the season's over to announce his intentions. Media beat-up.
 
Could simply be that they've already agreed in principle and are milking the media promotion for all it's worth. Come the bye week before finals n there's a big presser just when there's nothing else to talk about but the feel good of Dusty re - signing, just another pump up n singin n dancin about Tigerland.

Maximum entertainment n it's not about Colonwood or Carlscum or whoever, just all about US.

Contract situation, unless there is a press release and a presser with him sitting there saying how he is over the moon in
becoming a tiger for life...nothing is for certain.

Don't know why I never have before.
Anyway they seem supremely confident that Dusty is leaving Tigers.
Hoping they're just hoping.

I suspect the club wishes the change the narrative from "Could Richmond lose again? Straight sets?" to "Dusty signs! Can they win the flag?"

Anything that can help us win that 1st final would be appreciated.

1 of the 3 em surely knows something?

The amount of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ they would need to pay him to listen to the PA system, cheer his goals at home games, while he waits 5 years to have a chance to play finals again...

Interesting that other players are starting to re-sign. I would not expect this too happen if we didn't have Dusty signed sealed and delivered. I'd say it's all over and the club is waiting for the optimum time to announce it.
 
Heard on the radio that Dusty is headlining an appearance at Taylor Made Memorabilia in Frankston tomorrow.

Hopefully these will not be destined as collectors items as his last Richmond memorabilia.

Was reported yesterday that have agreed to terms. Just need to sign on the dotted line.
