Your mistaken unfortunately Craig.

Carr is his manager. This may become personal for him and hold the RFC over the barrel.

A lot of us have thought this is being caused by Carr( delay ) and not Dusty.

Parrot though is another who is a Richmond hater and is just wanted to stir us supporters and get back page news tomorrow.

With Shai on his books you can see Carr causing issues down the track.

Anyway this could be pure speculation and Parrott succeeding in firing us up , as he has done me.

Cheers Waiting thats dissapointing he is still Dustys manager, even moreso that he's got Shai as well.

Can no doubt see him shopping Shai to the Heave Ho's and Cokesters as soon as hes worth the commission

No problemo Craigo.

Wish I was wrong.

Carr is the problem.

Dusty looks happy , loves the players, coach & club(appears).

Just wish Dusty would sign but he doesn't have to until seasons as stated.

Go Dusty Saturday

Barrett is a bottom feeder of the highest order.

but I wonder if we see a tweet from Dustin saying fake news as he did when Caro reported that the Merkin was shopping him around without Dustin knowing.

Each week there will be a new development I guess.

Ultimately Dusty is the boss. If he wants to stay at RFC he just tells Carr to get it done. Carr works for Dusty not the other way around.

I still reckon he will stay. All we have to do is match any offer.

Balmey bagged Parrot on SEN. Sounds like he has no respect for him whatsoever.

Him a few hundred thousand other footy fans.

I don't really care about Barrot , but what he said isn't exactly having a go at us. It was more directed at Carr.

Yes but to also try and cause some unrest for RFC. It was a nonsense piece put forward by him.

What I don't understand is why Dustin is so loyal to Ralph. It is quite plainly obvious to many that he doesn't have his client's best interests at heart. There have been instances where some commercial dealings have been destroyed because of RCM and the way Ralph treats people.

We wouldn't see what RCM is doing for Dusty outside of football. Not just in terms of contracts and sponsorship, but helping Dusty setup for the future. Managing his finances, investments etc etc. I have no idea if RCM does that for Dusty but it something they should be doing.

Exactly. He cost Dustin money & caused him potentially some embarrassment during the whole 2013 contract saga

Personally I think the whole Barratt breaking story is a load of rubbish. Ralph's job is to extract the best deal for Martin and the only way you can do that is to field other clubs. Barratt said that 'other clubs' had told him that Ralph is looking for revenge. So who are these other clubs? Is there a benefit in them portraying this? It's all just a game of cat and mouse. In the end Dusty will be shown the various offerings and he will make up his own mind based on his own values. Imo the only way he goes is if the Tigers stuff up negotiations. We just have to pay for Dusty true value and he's ours to keep.

i was embarrassed for Parratt on footy show yesterday! what a nothing story, Martins Manager wants revenge??
Revenge from what?? RFC only one to offer Martin a contract that no other club wanted anyting to do with him.

To me Martin wants to sign, but the mophead Manager wont let him as he just wants RFC to pay max for him!

The contract Dusty signed was of a lower value than one of the previous time bound offers.

Well tell that stuipid mophead Manager Martins where he is because of the RFC!
Richmond have worked outside the square to get him wher he is now!
If it wasn't for RFC to sign him at the time, then maybe Martin head would of been in the wrong space!

Seemed fair enough to me. Dusty took the punt on trying to get a better deal at the time. In the end no one wanted to take the risk as he was having his own issues at the time and wasn't entirely proven as a consistent player (remember the talk about his lack of tank, even Dermie called him a waddler at one stage). Tigers bent backwards in many ways. Dusty's manager, if he is holding grudges, needs to move on and just do what's best for his client. I am not sure there are any real grudges though, many of these managers tend to be pretty heartless without much ability to feel emotions.

I'm not questioning the club's way of dealing with Dusty and Carr during that time at all. I thought the club showed a fair amount of resolve. But the question was what Carr wanted revenge for and I gave a possible reason.
