Rance is better than Dusty

both in the top 5 players in the league IMO. I guess if you had to choose between the 2 you would choose Rance because he's a once in a generation defender where midfielders are a dime a dozen (although obviously Dusty is in the top echelon).

Mids might be a dime a dozen, but mids like Dusty certainly aren't.

There's a reason why mids and key forwards are the games highest paid players. They are the most important.

Saying that Rance is my favourite player, and I agree with posters who say we will look back on his career once he has finished and be thankful we have witnessed it.

What about the goal from near the boundary in the 3rd quarter. I reckon he would have run at least 80m to make the option the option for George and then kept running when he took the mark. The kick for goal was like a laser.

There are very few players in the AFL that could have done that.

Amazing goal for all the work he did beforehand, all the highlight packages only show him getting the ball and kicking it on the run, the gut running he did to even get there in the 1st place was a highlight of its own

I loved the 'I'm *smile*' as he ran past Grigg to the bench

I noticed that too.'I'm experiencing high amounts of lactic acid in my legs and an increased heart rate. I feel it's best to rotate onto the bench now.'

He also shoos Jack away from leading into the space Dusty wants George to put the ball for him. It's great vision, shows how well he sees the game.

Yeah, I saw that. From memory, is it also accompanied by a comment along the lines of why isn't Jack leading?

Shows how well whichever nuffie commentator it was sees the game.

Sounds like the kind of thing Mark Ciggie-Butt-Brain would say.

Yep. His opponent gave up the chase about half way through could't keep up.

Reckon Martin will have to ignore/turn down a very sizable offer from St Kilda if he is to remain at Richmond.
I hear the Saints are more interested in Martin than they are GWS's Josh Kelly and are prepared to throw large coin at the tattooed one.

If we offer 900k and Saints offer 1.2mil he stays. If they offer 1.4mil he goes. I am convinced money is not his only reason to sign a contract.

Your playing silly games if you think Tigers will offer 900 for Martin .
they will COVER all bases ..
