Not a standout BOG today but a big chance for the 3 nonetheless.

As said by many, still the most influential player on the ground. Can hit a target from 50 metres when others are missing from 15. Got me buggered why he doesn't take that set shot in the last.

It was a brilliant pass

if any of the three blokes who could have marked it had been looking.

Was standout in my book. He was the one that pulled us over the line when the game needed to be won. Opposition cannot tackle him. His marking seems to be even getting better. He's a freak. For the record, 30 disposals, 16 contested, 6 clearances, 2 contested marks, 7 inside 50s, 2 goal assists, 14 score involvements. Yeah ok maybe he could have accumulated more of those cheapie disposals to make it look better but it's a pretty complete set of stats if you ask me.

That's Dusty. On top of everything he's a very unselfish player. Risky handball to Reiwoldt when he was only 5 metres out himself was another example.

Not great early but when the game was there to be won Dusty was the one who took the responsibility and made it happen.
If that's to say he's a match winner, well he was one yesterday.

yep, good set of stats there TL. That's a very good game - we have high standards when it comes to Dusty. And yeah, he was taking the *smile* late in the game - untackleable if that's a word.

3 votes.

Which in my book gets him to 15 votes so far at least

I'd be very surprised if he isn't well past that amount. Umps got on board last year & he has been the talk of the town since round 1. Be on 20 at least in my opinion

Not for the first time either. Wonder if all those saying he's not a match winner still believe it?

Wonder if he'll squeeze into roco starting 18 by the end of the year?

His goal kicking has dropped off from early in the season. Needs to lift.

Too unselfish.

Should realise everyone else is two classes below him on the field so just have a ping anywhere near 50m. Dangerfield does this.

He had a mark late in the game around 40-45m? Couldn't see who he was kicking it to but it was a turnover trying to pass off. Just kick the goal Dusty.

The mark of a true champion is to be able to play at a good level while injured. Dusty has had groin and back niggles and still performed at a pretty good level.

Don't forget the cracked cheekbone that he played with in the WCE game!

I was surprised Dusty got 10 coaches votes on sunday.

he was very good, but i was still surprised.

has the brownlow halfway over his head

He was swatting carlton players like flies at one stage

That was in the 4th, he seemed to grab kade simpson on the face and just threw him aside, was quite funny.

Cotchy writes a nice article, then the RFC puts something up about Rance loving Dusty too. It's not to stroke his ego, and they wouldn't be pumping him up if he had indicated he's leaving. I think they must have some good news to deliver soon.
