That perception is due to Dusty's highly intimidating aura. It's why the original chopstick story was so believable to outsiders.

Heard some Richmond fans leaving the game last week - "yeah, I'd back him for the Brownlow, but worried about his discipline..." WTF? Has he ever even been reported? I'm sure fans of other teams probably reckon he's been rubbed out multiple times.

Doesn't matter. He's got tatts. His old man is a bikie. He's 3rd dan blackbelt in Hashi Bashi.

Footage has emerged of Chopsticks-Gate incident last year.

Why isn't he on the first page?

The eye - black and blue but it didn't stop him kicking two massive goals in the last quarter.

Was hugely influential through the game and was burned by his teammates when up forward. Not surprised by this or the fact certain posters are so quick to pump up others.

He makes things happen and he controls his opponents. Not a kick and hope that's for sure. Should have taken a leaf out of cotchys book with the tackling tonight.

Stuck in the goal square for the third as our players insisting on sending the ball over his head for points. He wasn't happy about it either. But he's a champ - hung in and made the game safe in the last.

Overhead marking seems to be the only element of his game that is less than average

Also dropped that chest mark in the first near goal, demote to VFL til he learns how to mark.

yeah. I wouldn't say less than average, just average, which for a superstar, seems lees than average, if that makes sense.

Just a brute. We are so much more dangerous with him playing forward of centre. Hopefully the cheek bone is nothing serious

Just watched that last goal of his again, wasn't easy to see at the game, and how good was it? He was up against the goal post with the high bal coming in and had the foresight to tap it forward, follow it up and then screw it over his head for a goal. He's just a freak. And I disagree about his marking ability, he's a really good mark too, but some of the kicking towards him last night when one on one was pretty poor.

I think Martin is in the throes of eleven lung up. If he can keep playing at this new level I think he can establish himself as the best player in the competition by the end of the season. He is that good.
