Dan is dead

The graphic says "Bad News is Dan is Unbeatable" according to the HUN. Who gives a f*** who the author is? Dan winning the next election is bad news for the Hun because it goes against their preference for right wing government. Do I need to read the article to know the Murdoch media would prefer a Liberal government? No, not at all. Barely news really to say that the Hun thinks Dan winning the next election is bad news.

If there was any pretence of unbiased reporting the HUN would report that Dan looks unbeatable and not give an opinion as to whether this is a good or bad thing.

If you were half as smart as you think you are you'd still be the smartest *smile* in Australia by a street.
"Daniel Andrews will romp in at the next election. This is the bad news for the anti-Dan lot..."
Written by Theo Theophanous.

Comparing to NSW right now, we are lucky to have Andrews as a leader here.

Dead dictator or not, he gets the job done.

Tough time to be a Dead Dan conspiracy propagator.

So the last few weeks in NSW and most of the whole year federally have demonstrated the difference between weak leaders who operate only in terms of what is easy and popular, and those leaders willing to make hard decisions for the benefit of the state regardless of popularity or otherwise.

This leaves him open to "Dictator Dan" pejoratives of course, maybe the thread should be retitled.

Agree. 100%. Like him or not he is a leader. Don't know of any other politician in my life time that fronted up on a daily basis for months answering questions without notice until there were no more questions to be asked from the press that day, day after day, every day.
'Dictator Dan' .... kind of childish really.

Makes you wonder how much tighter he's gonna keep strangling us. Maybe essential services will be closed and we have to die of starvation. This bloke needs to control himself and stop being reactive.

What does that mean? Do you think we should have no restrictions, and we should 'learn to live' with the virus? Or do you think he should be proactive and put restrictions in place before they are needed?

Just stop blowing tantrums. Seems like when cases keep rising, his blood pressure does too. Keep calm.

I heard a couple of people complaining that their kids were hit with capsicum spray. Well if you didn't take your kids to an idiotic protest they wouldn't be in danger you bloody morons.

The Liberal Party is rife with small man's syndrome. Guy, O'Brien, they're all small men. Little c***s.

Maybe this will return Dan to the grave.

Labor ministers quizzed by corruption watchdog amid calls for Daniel Andrews to stand down (paywalled)

Several current and former ministers and dozens of Labor staffers have been interviewed in a major corruption probe into the misuse of public money.

A complaint from Premier Daniel Andrews last year triggered a joint investigation by the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission and Victoria’s Ombudsman into accusations of branch stacking by dumped minister Adem Somyurek and his allies.

But the Herald Sun understands the joint probe has widened its focus amid concerns of systemic misuse of public money including the wholesale deployment of taxpayer-funded staff to do Labor Party political work.

At least six current or former ministers are believed to have been spoken to.

With public hearings to commence next week, many in the government are fearful it could have devastating consequences for Labor.

It also emerged this week Mr Andrews and his key staff were being investigated by an entirely separate IBAC probe into the government’s dealings with the United Firefighters Union and its chief, Peter Marshall.

Disgruntled former party insiders were believed to have showed up to IBAC to “drop a bucket” – and in doing so, triggered a significant widening of the investigation.

Poor Dan, rose from the dead after being assassinated by some dudes in Sorrento because he cracked onto some chick, only for this to happen.

Dan: "I behave appropriately at all times. I’m focused on always doing what is the appropriate thing to do."

So, in your odd world-view, you see connections between Nixon, the arch-right Conservative Republican from the 1970s and Daniel Andrews in 2021?

Was Dirty *smile* a Dictator too? Isn't he your flavour of politician/leader?

You seem to be all over the place in your political awareness. Just really confused?

Just mindless. You think he lacks self-control? That's the problem - he is "reactive"? To a deadly virus that has killed over a million around the world? Of course, he and the team he leads are being "reactive" ... as any effective, competent leader we the public/electorate expect: TO SAVE LIVES, as his government have done or tried extremely hard to do.

Unlike our total failure of a PM and his crew of reprobates - in so many respects I have not got days to elaborate for anyone so thick-headed not to be able to see that - or Gladyslaxative in NSW? Who has succeeded brilliantly in seeding Delta to us in Vic., rest of Australia variably and even to NZ, where another strong, effective, similar leader to Andrews has had her decontaminated state undermined by Gladbags and the PM's absolutely negligible LNP doofus governments. Idiots on taking no responsibility for national quarantine centres, no Federal responsibility for Aged Care homes and locking down harshly/immediately to stop Delta spread from NSW leakage (451 total deaths thus far but majority from more recent Delta outbreak).

So you think DA is craving attention, drama, power? Can you not comprehend, after more than two years of this, that the virus is the ENEMY, not the rare dedicated politicians saving many lives, or working endlessly in the attempt, in extremely trying circumstances? (11 deaths in Victoria yesterday).

Just stop blowing tantrums. Seems like when cases keep rising, his blood pressure does too. Keep calm.
Sure, because he thinks it's all about him!? Nothing to do with caring about those he represents or taking huge responsibility for their welfare. Because you have often done that, right? Taken enormous responsibility ... for the lives of millions ... in your revered leadership role as ... as ... mmmm?

Your capacity to respond rationally to someone rightfully challenging your incredibly vapid, patronising comments is this - 'stop blowing tantrums' ?

I give up. Why am I wasting my time trying to communicate with someone that has the reasoning capacity of a toddler.
