Another classic Dimma said once he'd made the decision he rang Jack Riewoldt to see if he was available to catch up. He said Jack thought it was going to be about him...........Dimma with a laugh said no Jack it's not about you, it's not always about you.

Onya Dimma you taught the AFL about culture, and you have just now taught everyone about leaving with class.

He's such a classy bloke, spoke beautifully.

*smile* I'm going to miss having him around. These are some big shoes that need to be filled, both tactically but culturally.

Thanks so much for your services Dimma. Club legend.

What a great man. Its clear that this wasn't an easy decision for him, but he's made the right decision for the club and himself if he can't give 100%. The easy decision would have been to keep pushing through, but he made his points very well as to why he made this decision, and whilst the decision is the best for him, its also the best for the club as we want an eternally strong relationship with such an important figure in our history and we don't want that relationship soured on either side (ours or his).

He is and will always be a legend of our football club.

I'll be there on Sunday to say goodbye and hopefully the players can smash those Port pretenders for Dimma.

A class interview by a classy person. No matter what he does in his future I, along with many others, wish him good health, long life and happiness.

Thanks Damien.

Forever grateful you gave us flags and exciting football, seeing 2017 & 2019 with my family at the G with the Tiger Army is a lifelong memory.
Dimma a Richmond FC legend.

Carr is valued highly Apparently
if he is then the RFC will have a chat.
let’s see how Port play their hand.
Will be in the RFCs benefit if the Kochies make the finals that way they don’t sack Ken and gives the Tigers a chance to sneak in and possibly poach Carr if he’s that good.

I watched it on Fox and there was no microphone for the journos so I couldn't hear the questions he was asked. How hard is it to get them a microphone geez.

Anyway is it right that he has coached his last game; no farewell game against Port on the weekend? McQualter will be coaching on Sunday?

I'm totally gutted, just shaking my head in disbelief, but I'm very happy for dimma. The time is right for him. So much joy I thought I never would experience.
Have a great life dimma - you bloody legend
