Damien Hardwick On SEN This Morning

If Jack is the third tall then does this mean that CCJ is going to get a lot more game time?

Gary Lyon would have been the world's biggest hypocrite had he been disrespectful of Hardwick's personal life
He and Tim were really good. There was clearly some interest in how it was handled within the club etc.. never once touched on his private life.
Part that interested me most was Stacky and RCD/Ross. Fingers crossed for Syd that he doesn’t get stitched up by WA legal system. RCD finally fit enough for AFL was what I took from it.

Going on the half dozen or more VFL games I've seen CCJ and Mabs play, I much prefer CCJ.

With Soldo out for the year I really hope CCJ grabs the opportunity when his time comes.

Wasn't he another SA Captain too?

I understand they had to ask about Dimmas situation but I felt they asked too many questions about it.

One down 4 to go,
AFL 360 & OTC & Taking footy & Footy Classified still to go.
Hutchy, Robbo and Cornes will go harder on his private life.
Thats when Hardwick should go the knuckle and knock them out.

None of them are champions....

I was looking more at the last 25 years and thinking the best 3 CHF's like Jonathon Brown, Dermott Brereton & Wayne Carey.
Versus Tony Lockett, Gary Ablett Snr and Dunstall (He's the exception).
Mifielder's - well where do you start.
All great players but I would put Nick Riewoldt in the champ class, absolute star over a very long period of time. People mark him down because he wasn't a premiership player but he was only a Milne bad bounce away from it in the end.
I rated him very highly as a player

Hutchy is not brave enough, he'll get Caro to do his dirty work.
Robbo will end up answering his own questions if Dimma simply pauses for a few seconds; and
Cornehole will be dialing in from Radelaide so Dimma can just hit mute whenever he opens his mouth.

Caro's arrow :rotfl1

Thanks for posting - I actually thought Dimma was pretty nervous and made it clear from his first comments that his private life was off limits.

I understand they had to ask about Dimmas situation but I felt they asked too many questions about it.

I agree - they seemed to labour the point - they should have started with the footy and got Dimma to relax first before they went for the personal stuff - it’s just none of their business frankly.

Yeah I agree, thought Tim Watson was grinding away a tad too much.
Let's hear the questions to Buckley and Goodwin when they come on as to whether they've also 'addressed' issues in their personal lives with their respective playing groups.

Why? Dimma is a 3x premiership coach. Guy could sneeze and everyone would want to know why,
Bucks and Goodwin... who cares

Did no-one notice both didn't greet Hardwick with 'super coach' or 'champion coach' like they do with Clarkson even Ross Lyon gets introduced as 'great coach'.
Hardwick is one behind Clarkson but one in front in total with playing and coaching.
Its about time they start accepting the fact he is a great coach.
10 seasons 7 Finals 3 Flags
And the first 2 years having the worse team since Fitzroys team in 1996.

Reckon he'll get a hell of a lot more questions on 360 and by paper journos. Robbo will be angling for a solo interview, I trust that will not be condoned. Hopefully Dimma does what he did today, point out that his private life is private and answer a couple of general questions regarding his relationship with the players and that will be it. He didn't have a problem asking Garry & Tim to move onto football. And they did. In a way it was a good opening interview.

II hope the likes of Browne/Barrett try and push him so he refuses to deal with them going forward.
