Hasn't Virat chilled out now he's not skipper?

You wouldn't even know he was out there.

Suggest it is more that he hasn't scored a Test century in over 3 years (average 26).

Difficult to grandstand and gloat when your performance doesn't warrant it.

Disclaimer - He is great for cricket, test in particular.

The pic I saw of the pitch, it looked bloody awful. That might not be such a bad score, if the Aussies bowl a lot better than in the first test.

Harsha Bogle was quick to point out Carey is averaging 15 for this tour. 36, 10, 0.

Just saw the air quality index is reading 257.

Below 50 is considered good, Melbourne is currently on 12!
The air in Delhi is poison.

Usman and Handscomb played superbly. 300 would have been a good score, 263 not bad. Not looking easy for India to bat on either.

Kuhnemann opening the bowling on debut! Good start too.

Better balanced team with the left-arm spinner, but lucky to win the toss. Really miss the balance Green brings. He comes in for either Warner or Head next test hopefully. If only Maxi were available to replace the other.

Let's see what India makes. If they lead by 100 or more we're probably screwed.

Junior's better than Haydos who talks in malapropisms and mangled metaphors.

Like Lyon around the wicket, that's how he threatens both edges, the pads and the stumps. Easy to say he should threaten the outside edge from over the wicket but without a doosra that's pretty tough.

Always been outstanding Calling the game Junior. Insights and spade a spade.

Wasted in the big bash.

Fun fact:

Am good mates with Michael Gough the Pommy umpire who gave Rohit out there and on ICC panel.

One of the best umpires in the world and former England under 19 captain.

More importantly a looser unit you will not meet.

haydos said when India were about to bat "they haven't got anything to lose, except their wicket". No idea what point he was trying to make.

Boland would've loved bowling on this mosaic wicket. If India win, I won't be surprised if its their pace bowlers that bowl them to victory.
