More sessions lost due to weather/light etc. Sydneysiders should NEVER laugh at Melbournes weather. More interruptions due to weather in Sydney than in our fair city by quite a way.
More full days lost than anywhere else in the world apparently.

Excellent use of technology today. LBW appeal by Lyon. Decent shout: hit the batter out of line with the stumps but batter did not play a shot, ball pitched outside off but was clearly heading towards the stumps and a fair chance to hit the stumps, height no issue. Umpire made a reasonable call that he could not say it would hit the stumps, a difficult decision but reasonable. It goes to DRS. The DRS showed it maybe would have hit the stumps. So, even though the DRS showed that the ball was fairly likely to have hit the stumps, there was clearly no conclusive evidence to over rule the umpire's call so they did not over rule the umpire's call.

Not so difficult is it?

So a whole lot of techbology to find maybe coulda possibly not sure, lets leave it to the umpire.
Why not have no tech and simply go with the umpires call?
Some will be wrong, most right and we play to the umpires whistle.

Fourteen wickets to take on the final day. Unless the pitch somehow becomes a raging sideways turner overnight, we're short a pace bowler. Aussie pace bowlers have owned this series n bashed the Sth Africans into submission. Unlikely the spinners are gunna clean up today.

CA really ought to look at moving when the Sydney test is played. It is remarkable looking at how many days have been lost to wet weather right across the history of cricket.

I don’t get the live probability tracker with SAF with 0.5% chance to win. What do they do? Get ten runs ahead, declare and bowl Australia out for 7?

Well I take it back. I guess avoid follow on and Australia declare and then they T-20 it.

Still an innings to go ;).

But not looking like an inspired call.

Limited opportunites though, 14 overs out of 105.
Guess at least the captain figured he wasn't gunna get too many wickets n didn't bother bowling him much. Got such a stand out dominant first class career that I'm gob smacked Agar hasn't been a fixture in the team for years.

The selection of Agar has proven to be a bit of a waste.
I'm shocked and staggered that a bowler who didn't take wickets at first Class level hasn't taken Wickets at test level.
I guess it's not like we have a quick not playing who has taken Wickets every time he has Bowled.

Seriously? That's an attempt to shut him up for sure. 0, 3, 200 and 10. Four Australians finished with a better average and another the same.
