I started the online booking process last month to see whether I could get in for a Pfizer shot. I could.
If we were overrun like e.g. Indonesia then I’d have no problem isolating for three months. More if necessary. We already did it once, remember?
Of course the government is going to continue doing its best to protect lives. An about-face at this point would be insane. And yeah, the risk of me getting infected right now is minimal, hence I’m not vaccinated.
And it's exactly that kind of attitude that means we are at risk of being locked down again and make it even longer for us to open up the economy and the borders.
Earlier this year you were furious at travellers returning and potentially shutting down the economy. Now it's a gentle stroll, no problem about waiting for vaccination, we can shut the economy down for another 3 months, all good.
