I probably shouldnt ask, but what failures? Without research I would say there had been about an equal number of virus 'escapes' from HQ across different states. While I am sure there were issues with how Vic initially responded last year, i reckon other states also had the chance to learn a lot, which helped them when they had outbreaks.Dan was back trying to reduce influx of people again. Blaming HQ only distracts from his constanr failures.
i reckon the change is response to most of the country being in lockdown, rather then just hopeless old Victoria. It was very easy to ignore when it was just the poor old Vics again.Agree Baloo. I certainly don't wish failure on Sydney. I hope that they get over this quickly, but as you say the Feds response is totally different. They seem to not be able to look past party political lines, despite Covid not being a labour vs libs issue, but they are making it one.
Vics have a lockdown - lets follow the medical advisory guidelines. No AZ to anyone under 60.
NSW has a lockdown - screw what the medical advice says. Anyone can get the AZ jab, but if you die or get seriously ill, thats on you, but we have to save Sydney, whatever it takes.
So i have had my flu shot and two doses of AZ but I still did my Civic duty today and got tested after experiencing a sore throat and a few body aches.
Was not discussed with National Cabinet either. So now Scotty has decided it is a race

Also HQ is currently responsible for Darwin being in lockdown for the 1st time since the nation wide lockdown last year, and for fears in other states, after a miner contracted the virus in HQ before heading to a remote mine. he was virus free when he entered, but not when he left. Surely that in itself should be leading to big questions about the use of HQ.

Yep, 12 weeks to the day.Did you wait the full three months between doses @caesar ?
Yep, 12 weeks to the day.
Brett Sutton has told people to get the AZ today. So I would expect many will get it under 40 years now of age.
Why Millennials shouldn’t worry about AstraZenecaHe did? I just searched and couldn't find any quote from him, do you have a link?
Can we throw them back at him?ScoMo's marketing background is coming in handy, he's got an End Of Financial Year sale on the AstraZeneca vaccine. But wait there's more, he's going to throw in a set of steak knives.
