Bit of mixed messaging going on. Last weekend Greg Hunt says if you have symptoms then get tested, better to get tested than not. On Wednesday Murphy says if you have acute cold or flu symptoms, don't get tested unless you've been overseas. Then Dutton wakes up with a sore throat and a bit of temperature and gets tested.
I'm in day 16 since getting a sore throat and still getting feverish to the point I need to turn the fan on. Still very much doubt that I've got it, but how would I know? Is it OK for me to go for a Haci's kebab run, or should I get tested first?
A few too many voices coming from areas of authority, and not always agreeing.
So who has Dutton had contact with, are they self isolating and being tested? Scomo probably can't go to the footy or hillsong after all.
EDIT: Dutton probably got it in the US. Derryn Hinch tweeted last night about heaing that a cabinet minister had tested positive, so if that was Dutton Scomo went ahead with his statements about going to the footy knowing he had been in contact with an affected person and he should be self isolating himself.
Oh, totes.
Just in, The Fascist Potato has tested positive to coronavirus. No mention of whether he'll be quarantined on Christmas Island, but hopefully Scotty and the full Cabinet go give him a big group hug.
Put it this way, older Australians will cope with this better than Gens Y & Z, even though they're the ones in the most danger.
It's the myth of the tough old laconic bushie. Fire up The Man From Snowy River on your VCRs kids, Lee's gone all nostalgic on us
My grandfather was a gruff old bugger who never went to the movies. He made an exception for that film and came away terribly disappointed.

Hope you recover L2.
Since Monday my young son has been sick, and in the last couple of days the pregnant wife. It seems to be just a light cold, but who knows?
We live nearish the french city Mulhouse which was the first outbreak and there is a young family 2 villages away that were tested positive 2 weeks ago.
So possibly .... but still probably not.
Who knows?
Take care of yourself Lee.
In Indonesia I don't even know where i would go to get tested.
