They have a lot of ground to make up - 40% of Australia's population and 3500% more deaths including 147 overnight.
I can almost feel sorry for them as their policy is being dictated by not having the resources to fight it - Sweden has one of the poorest health systems in Europe despite high taxation. However they have bullshitted their citizens into submission over CV, and most of them don't have sufficient independence of thought to question it. Prof Tegnell is a celebrity over there!
Exhibit A against socialist groupthink.

Bernie was crazy and Sweden thinks its **** doesn't stink.
Sweden - "keep doing whatever the hell you want guys"
Lee - "that's Socialism!!!"
It's more a case of the government doing a terrible job of protecting its citizens while telling the public they're doing a great job, and the public being too trusting or dumb to know the difference. Even the WHO had a crack the other day.

Socialism breeds reduction in/death of independent thought.
Hard to eradicate when half the people with symptoms choose not to get tested:
More than half of Australians with symptoms not tested for COVID-19
Dr Craig Dalton says he's experiencing people who are not getting tested because they say they don't have it: "They could be right or they could be fatally wrong.”www.theage.com.au
