Richmond v Adelaide
8 Patrick Dangerfield (Adel)
8 Brett Deledio (Rich)
8 Dustin Martin (Rich)
4 Bachar Houli (Rich)
1 Brandon Ellis (Rich)
1 Chris Newman (Rich)

Hardwick
5 - Deledio
4 - Martin
3 - Dangerfield
2 - Houli
1 - Newman

Sanderson
5 - Dangerfield
4 - Martin
3 - Deledio
2 - Houli
1 - Ellis

I assume they went something like this.

My guess

Sanderson

5 Deledio
4 Martin
3 Dangerfield
2 Houli
1 Ellis

Hardwick
5 Dangerfield
4 Martin
3 Deledio
2 Houli
1 Newman

Can conlude that both coaches thought Deledio, Martin and Dangerfield were in the best 3 on ground.

Both rated Houli as 4th best.

For the 5th best, one of them liked Ellis, the other Newman

Deledio rocketing up that list. A coupl of weeks ago some were bagging Deledio for his inconsistent performances. Coaches obviously think differently.

Be careful LTRTR, you don't want to give zips a cardiac arrest.

How do you know how the votes were split

The way the votes are laid out Jacko can only have got 4 votes from 1 coach. 1 votes and 2 votes all used on the bottom 3 vote getters.

The top three are the only way they can be, niko.

Coach A Coach B
5 - Houli 5 - Griffen
4 - Jackson 4 - Houli
3 - Griffen 3 - Martin

Then for either coach A or B-

2 - Conca 2 - Riewoldt
1 - Morris 1 - Morris

or

2 - Conca 2 - Morris
1 - Riewoldt 1 - Riewoldt

or

2 - Riewoldt 2 - Morris
1 - Conca 1 - Conca

v St.Kilda

10 Jackson (5, 5)
7 Vickery (4, 3)
6 Conca (4, 2)
4 Foley (3, 1)
2 Rance (2, 0)
1 Riewoldt (1, 0)

Season

39 Deledio
29 Martin
22 Cotchin
21 Jackson
18 Houli
16 Ellis, Riewoldt, Vickery
14 Conca, Vlastuin
8 King
6 S.Edwards
4 Foley, Rance, Tuck
2 Grigg, Morris, White
1 Knights, Maric, Newman

I reckon the coaches votes would reflect Jacko's position in our B&F far more accurately at this stage than our PRE votes do. 4th, and only one vote behind Cotch, is indicative of a decent, consistent season. The amount of bagging Dan has copped this year is quite extraordinary, even by PRE standards.
