All the ones he missed today in his prime would drill with regulation drop punts. How many drop punts from the boundary have we seen Jack kick?
This round the corner *smile*...

Of course we celebrate the champions and the comment had nothing to do with their final game and the kudos they deserve. It was about the list that will continue playing next year and beyond and just how far it has fallen away. The massive amount of gaps we now seem to need to fill. Come March next year Cotch and Jack wont be around but Pickett, Kmac etc may well be and that would mean another year of mediocrity.@dimmauchamp such a negative poster which is his prerogative, obviously not at the game or has no appreciation of what the day was all about, result was irrelevant. Very emotional day at the 'G' and so special to be there to thank a couple of absolute superstars for the dynasty and premierships they brought to our club.
Anyway, enjoy your misery, me, I am cracking a red and celebrating good times.
The conspiracy side of me thinks we are trading a player(s) to GWS for our pick back.Just watching the last three weeks games and it is obvious with a couple of notable exceptions that the teams collective hearts are not in the competition and have checked out until next season. Not a good look to see a team with no desire or fight.
Still onwards and upwards with new blood and a new season once next week is over and done with
Who may those players be?The conspiracy side of me thinks we are trading a player(s) to GWS for our pick back.
Jack and CotchinWho may those players be?
Mainly tiger supporters too
great post. Emotional day, Dusty is a genius. A warrior poet.Surprising to see so many negative posts here. Just got home from a big day at the footy.
The whole day felt like a celebration.
The closest approximation I've felt previously was attending the 2019 GF. Which sounds ridiculous, but it resonated emotively.
There was no intent to play a particular way today. It even felt that winning was secondary.
Dusty was taking the *smile*, hitting up his mates, when he could have kicked six. Positions and space were vacated to give a couple of exhausted legends their final moments. KMac ran sacrificially all day to let Cotchy trot around on 1.5 calves. Our kids were blocking and deferring. The forward 50 was consistently cleared out for a version of Riewoldt that could barely roam a third of it.
And the rest of them played with something in their eyes.
The crowd knew what was happening today. We were cheering handballs. Giving a standing ovation for a speccy that didn't even net a goal. At various points I forgot the score entirely. I couldn't even now tell you whether we won by a goal or ten. It didn't matter. The lap of honour surpassed, by far, the importance of the final siren.
I don't remember North even being there. Today was a manifestation of closure. The club and its supporters wrapped the avatars of a Dynasty in ennui, embraced them, then released them into history.
Did we not transition the ball well?
I'm not sure I saw it.
^^^x 100 %don't think we need to worry about bad-mouthing anybody or anything about today hey gang?
lets just celebrate an important day for the club and that we got a win for the 8 and 9
There are a few that wont be around in the next 2 yrs - we'll be ok and move on - as we all know, the game is engineered to be this way with the BS policies of the powers that be.listless playing group atm
zero pressure applied today
was hard to watch so many half-hearted efforts
grimes should retire next

Forever linked to Jaaack up on stage and the drought busting 2017 Granny. Nothing worse than a seriously grey old fart with a dopey grin on his dial trying to sing along every time he hears Mr. Brightside crank up.When Mr Brightside kicked in, had a fair lump in my throat.
