Back port to break GWM records
The AFL set us up beautifully 2 out of the last 4 at Telstra dome and round 24 in Adelaide.
Lets see if Collingwood cop that next year finishing on top.

So true .. Well could be the Dusty Farwell match next week ( if media rumors are true going to GC .. who knows )and a few others .
They’re not true. They use it as click bait, when you actually read or listen to the clip it’s not even about that. As in the Martin thread the media have been trying to pry Dusty from Richmond almost since he was drafted. I think he’ll honour his contract, which is for 2024, and get to 300, then assess his next move. Personally, I think that’ll be play for the Tigers for a couple of years, or retire.

When Mr Brightside started playing as Cotch and Jack entered the race there a speck of dust which got in my eye causing a small about of salty discharge to well up...simply to get the dust out though.

Just got home, great celebration of two giants of our footy club.
From a football perspective the number one thing we need to change is that teams transition so easily from defence to attack against us.
It is infuriating

Totally agree Sin.

Was at the game too and the lack of pressure on the Nth transition was very evident.

Yeah, not a great game. But, we won, and that is important sending off such greats of the club.

Lot to work on: fumbling, kicking to stationary targets, handpasses which miss etc. Really need to be able to exert more pressure too.

Umpiring the usual lucky dip: player gets held and sometimes a free is awarded and sometimes it isn't, push in the back sometimes it is paid, players dives and sometimes that is paid too, high contact - yeah/nah whatever the ump feels like at the time, just all over the place.

Glad to be there to send off Riewoldt and Cotchin, a historic day for the club.

Club did a brilliant job with the send off. It was great to be there. Atmosphere was great.

It is. Steven Wright posted on twitter the last players from his time at the club finished up. Let that soak in for a minute or two...he feels a lifetime ago.

Another nothin put plodding miles behind opposition players for Graham ..
First on the list to trade or delost
..A year wasted when cumbetland sonsie or clarke could of played in his position ..

listless playing group atm

zero pressure applied today

was hard to watch so many half-hearted efforts

grimes should retire next

Such a rubbish game. Nothing to take out of it whatsoever

@dimmauchamp such a negative poster which is his prerogative, obviously not at the game or has no appreciation of what the day was all about, result was irrelevant. Very emotional day at the 'G' and so special to be there to thank a couple of absolute superstars for the dynasty and premierships they brought to our club.
Anyway, enjoy your misery, me, I am cracking a red and celebrating good times.

Just watching the last three weeks games and it is obvious with a couple of notable exceptions that the teams collective hearts are not in the competition and have checked out until next season. Not a good look to see a team with no desire or fight.
Still onwards and upwards with new blood and a new season once next week is over and done with

The post-game was amazing, something I'll never forget. The amount of fans who stayed behind just shows how good Jack, Trent, RFC and their supporters are...amazing stuff!!
