Changes versus Port

Like you Seven, I worry about that as a selection. He did nothing in the last two games he played, so how is he going to change that around??
Tell you, if he gets picked, RFC can expect a very bold email from me which will included this "?" and also plenty of these" !!! "

They bring Chol in they have gifted Port a massive upper hand. The pressure levels of this game are going to be out of this world. Chol will melt in pre game let alone during play. Here's hoping they are playing mind games with Port and the side stays the same

You have back the match committee guys if they put Chol in I think they have earned it.Leave Nank ruck alone with a chop out is a risk , put Chol in could work or fail.
Yeah, Dimma knows his man, but he'd really be putting his nuts on the line with this call. And Chol's. Another failure and defeat and I don't know if Cholly can recover in the eyes of supporters. We'll wait until 6:25 I guess.

Against the Lions, Nank rucked 90% game time vs two fresh rucks, effectively solo, and it didn’t work. Chol didn’t play second ruck.

Nank dominated against St Kilda with less minutes and higher intensity.

I guess an argument could be made for Chol playing as a second ruck, but I’d rather any makeshift second ruck myself.

It's hard to imagine Chol is a hardcore trainer when considering especially his most recent efforts on field. Assuming this to be so based on the fact he's not in form and presumably doesn't train the house down, he can only be played based on his height & therefore is gifted games despite a backlog of deserved players which continue to be denied a recall

Didn’t Chol play his best game for the club against Port earlier in the season? Could be some thinking with that.

In the prev game v Port, Soldo had 29 HO, Chol 7 so the MC will be considering Nank and Chol sharing duties more 50:50 keeping Nank fresher to be more effective for this Prelim and hopefully for the GF. Nank is not in the same shape as 2017. He's getting over his serious ankle surgery and still regaining fitness so has to be managed to avoid a soft tissue breakdown...then we're really stuffed.

The thought of Chol playing makes me very nervous. Prelims are brutal can Chol chase, harass, split the packs, etc recent games say no. If he comes in he MUST do all of the above, a GF is at stake.

Either Dimma was foxing with the media and Chol won't play, if he's not in the team no doubt he'll be named an emergency to keep Port guessing.

If he does in fact come in, Pickett is the most likely out. Dimma already in his presser mentioned Noah, Dave, Broad, and Grimes as all looking to restrict Dixon's influence, so with that in mind Broad to play wing which we all know he can run all day and could be a good option for our defenders to kick down the line to him, Broad good overhead.

Id much prefer no change but if Chol comes in think this may well be the change.

Its likely to be a very physical game, which isn't Chol's strong suit. Broad was good last week, and should only get better.

No change for PA.
Dursma & Marshall have come up.
So they are quite tall forward & in the ruck.

Now for our selection(s) or non selection.

If Chol gets selected then Beavis really is putting his balls on the line and backing himself in. The easiest & safest thing to do in the world is go in unchanged. No one would ever question that even if we lost.

So Beavis must really believe Chol in makes us a better chance of beating Port if he's selected for this match. If it was borderline he'd remain unchanged.

I agree, but In Hardwick we trust. I’m hoping this is the game where Chol tears em a new one LeBron style

It's going to rain reasonably heavily in the afternoon prior to the game. Expect slippery conditions.

Could we see Castagna as a surprise out? With Shai playing well up forward last week and Rioli seems to be going along pretty well he could be the one to miss out. Hasn't been in great form lately and it would be forward for forward

Dimmas presser yesterday really sounded like no change.
this is a preliminary final, not the middle of the season, and the team were solid against the Saints.
