Wow, go back and read through every single match day thread since the start of this website...might find one or two silly comments there.

Anyway, just my opinion. His got the size to match Cripps. Also Cripps is not the most skilled midfielder going around...just great at bash and crash at stoppages, one of the best. Does Balta have the tank? Probably not but I reckon you are underselling him a bit if you think he can not develop into a inside mid-type at least part-time. Yes, I agreee with others that he should stay a key back (or forward) for now but long-term who knows? Not suggesting he wll be as good as Cripps...but just that type/role for us.

Balta as Bont the silliest thing youve ever read on PRE?

You must have stage 4 dyslexia?

Whats with dimma declaring DTLD a chance this week? I know Covid time shifts differently, but thats gotta be the quickest 5 weeks ever?

But tick-*smile* charged me $30 a pop.

Went for my favourite spot ground level wing

No, tickets were free. But the email the club sent me said I have access to 2 free tickets for games played in my home state. If we play anymore in QLD, I will have to cough up.

You'd probably get free access to the Giants game if it happens (which is ridiculous given SEQ is closer for you)

Yeh Grimes can play on anyone. It is actually better balanced with Astbury/Balta as the key defenders IMO.

Broad & Vlas can also play small/tall. Broad is also providing more run from the backline of late, his running capacity is huge. If Astbury comes back it frees him up even more to be used.

The similarities end with height perhaps? Their surnames both start with B? They both have european heritage?

Arguing because a guy is big and athletic that he can become a clearance machine of the ilk of Bont/Cripps is as silly as anything I've read here. Possibly not as silly as the corona thread talk about the distribution of luck in Australia but pretty darn silly.

Charged me $30 a ticket + their usual handling fee. Ticket allocations say Adult Member. Got the SMS for the link to the tickets but unable to download them in the app.
I love Ticketek. A world class company that reeks of perfection.

I agree that we need to get games into RCD, Naish, CCJ and Dow, Pete. Trouble is were not playing well and need our best available 22 to get over the line. We can't afford to drop games to sh!t teams.

Looks like all the rain has gone from Brisbane | Gold Coast now, so fine and 23 is forecast. I agree that North are on the slow side, so we should try to exploit this. Balta has to stay in side, so if Astbury comes back in, (which he will if fit), it has to be at the expense of a big in my opinion. Soldo, Choi, (or maybe we give Lynch a rest). I dont think we should chance dropping Soldo against Goldy though. Agree that Riolo's intensity is poor at times but maybe he gets one more. On balance, maybe "No Change" is the best strategy?
