Reckon this won't be lost on the players, but with 10 of our starting 22 out injured and the lack of continuity of playing together will make it tough, even against colonwood. This game is a massive test for Dimma and his coaching staff. Will be won or lost in the coaches box.
i dont think it matters where we end up on the ladder after this round, a loss tho will mean we can probably only drop 1 more game, and if we cant beat the pies I dont think we would have much confidence the following 2 weeks against the cats and lions.
Win this week and we could afford to drop the next 2, while returning players gain form before going on a winning run through to the end of September.
We all want Jack to succeed, but he hasn't come on since his ankle injury. He may traditionally be an inside mid, but why play him there if he isn't playing his best football there, or if it isn't in the best interest of the team? Maybe they really want him in the team, and are trying to find a spot for him.
I don't buy this he's being played out of position, or he's being poorly handled. Jack need to play well at whatever position he is given; he's certainly not in the position to pick and choose. If he's not happy with that, he should find another club.
Looking forward to a more attacking defence with Stack and Rioli down there.
Collingwood allow teams to transition from D50 so I expect both those boys to play well, look good, gain confidence.

We are a drifting favourite for this game from $1.36 out to $1.60. If this was a horse race you'd be checking to see if Richmond still had all 4 legs.
Our future midfield on show tomorrow. Dow, RCD, Graham and Bolton. Will be very keen to see how they go.
I really hope Graham atones for last week, he was poor.

If Ross cant hold is spot in this side completely decimated then its not a great sign for him.
Really great to see Syd back, I hope he applies himself and acquits himself well.
No major expectations on him I'm not expecting 2019 heroics just want to see him showing he wants it.
Mansell back too I'm happy with but he needs to play with more discipline and also good to see Dow get a whole game.
Garth gets another call up which for him is good he's been a good clubman, and might get a run of games whilst Broad Noah and Nick are out.
Daniel probably a bit lucky, but not as lucky as George and Jake whove given nothing the past 3 losses in partuicular.

He has been either great or very poor. Needs to level up and play consistent footy.
Rioli has more skill on his little toe than both Aarts & Castgna. He is more than just a small forward. Getting his hands on the footy in the VFL will do him no harm. Needs to play.

I mooted that Ross not holding his place in this decimated side is not a great sign.
Just realised Caddy playing in the seconds named in the pivot.
If he cant get in this side with it being decimated its even worse signs for him.
