Changes V Pies

If Hawks beat Freo in Tassie on sat. That would put pies 2nd last, juicy No 2 pick in the draft. Beat the Tiges and they jump up 3 places.
I still think we'll beat them. Our forward line will be too strong, it's close to full strength and they don't have Moore and Howe. Bonus having Daicos out too

Our injuries are double than there's but we can definitely win this. Must run and carry from the back half, link up and move the ball quickly.
Where have you been?
They could finish top 4, there draft position dosent change.
They will get Dacios as a father and son and not have another pick in the draft the mid 50's.
While we sit back and have 6 picks all under 50.
Collingwoods future has been torched.
2 first rounders for Treloar
1 first rounder 4 Stephenson gone
2 first rounders for Beams
***5 first rounders all gone
Wheres Robbo, Ralph, the age crew??
If that was any other club it would front page news

Now down to 10th.
Lose this tomorrow and we are cactus.
Win, and we will still be in the race...obvious I know.
If we win it will be better then when Moses divided the Red Sea.

Percentage is starting to become an issue no doubt in the hunt for a finals birth. These past two losses have been costly not just in terms of Premiership points.

Good changes except for Naish over Parker.
Agree but for Garth who is an honest but slow journeyman who has had plenty of chances, and who has done little in the VFL-now as a forward-to suggest he is ready to succeed at the higher level in defence. So form, foot speed and disposal all currently blah.

The limits imposed in the last minute 'coup' by Steve Hocking, changed the game to a great degree and is the most significant change since the kicking out rule was introduced.

We weren't ready and Dimma's reference to failures in execution in our forward press game in this weeks media, ignore the reality that the new rules offer much more to teams who can deliver, by foot, into their forward lines with a great degree of precision.
No offence intended but Garth is not part of the answer, .....
Miller deserves his chance and should have been preferred

If we don't make finals it gives us a complete break and a full preseason

Wasn’t expecting Garthwaite to be needed but was Miller available?
Thought he (Miller) deserved a chance but have been trying to see if perhaps he pulled up sore and missed out that way.

A full 3 .months to regroup
Not a bad thing coming off 4 turbo charged seasons.
They can have a break all September and October.
And come back in November ready to go.
It's not a bad thing. 6 picks just puts a smile on my face.
3 new quality kids and 2 players from other clubs to fill our needs.
And if Bolton leaves, pick 6 or 7. We are singing

On yesterday’s training session Caesar reported Miller was with the rehab group

The Monkey has been off our back since 2017, within that time we have won 3 glorious premierships.
A so called injury run is not the end of the world. This provides opportunities.
The football department will definitely get a good look at our youngsters, review some of the older players. We have 2 first rounders, 3 second rounders (maybe more if we release or players go elsewhere.
From now and rest of the season, its the Richmond Man traits that needs to come to the party. Win, Lose or Draw, if we continue to fight and play the game plan, I will continue to be happy .

Gee Zips. Hope Bolton does not leave.
Surely he has to be part of our future.
Brilliant when on song.

Dumpires for tomorrow.
Nick Foot (2), Matt Stevic (9), John Howorth (17)
How will we fare with these I wonder?

He is not really a journeyman. He's only played at the one club.

There's a good chance things could get fairly ugly tomorrow. Always a silver lining to every dark n gloomy cloud though. More much needed game time into plenty of our up n coming youngsters will set them up perfectly to drive our ageing list transition through this year and next. Unexpected drop down the ladder seriously improves our draft hand at the end of this year.
Instead of us getting the expected bonus of Geelol's old farts slipping down the ladder n getting an early advantage from their first round pick. We could likely have the bigger bonus of an earlier pick in each round of the draft due to the injury destruction of our season.

Checked Cesars training report and it seems you are right. If we win this now, it will be a surprise.
