We conjured up Grigg rucking and stunned the comp (it was our Karate Kid crane kick, our mighty Ducks formation) but that is no longer working with Picket, Chol or CCJ... we are playing 'leaderless' so to speak.

I would have him our equal greatness alongside Angus Graham, but yes he is so important to us, and yes he is under rated league wide.

On the ins, I reckon only 1 of Ross, Stack or Rioli play, unless Baker goes to the midfield then 2 play. Those guys have to HB, it is where they are being trained and played in the VFL, it would be unfair to put them anywhere else in the ones.

I reckon Miller is unlucky, or unloved. But Hardwick has always been willing to pick his best 22 (or at least best 7 backs) and make it work match up wise. Vlastuin better play though otherwise Baker or Short will be our 3rd tall back. 2020 Baker could do the job, I'm not sure about 2021 Baker.

I'll guess a bench of Stack, Graham, Dow and Parker or Rioli.

You are probably right, but he isnt named in the VFL this week either, suggesting injury could have robbed him of his debut, and the chance to become a triple premiership hero.

Yeh, has he been beaten by his opposition number in a final? Grundy in the 2018 prelim is the only one I can think of. And from an outsiders perspective would start as underdog every time?
