Wouldn't have too many changes, if Miles is sore give him a spell. Morris stays in to play on the Pies small forwards.

In : Shed
Out : Miles

Miles out No. Thomas out No. Hate to see MacIntosh left off the list as he has not done anything wrong this year. Sheds will have to wait after time in the Magoos.

miles must NEVER BE DROPPED. Essential if we are to win finals.

I wouldn't call it dropped, i would call it rested.
I agree he is crucial to finals success. Shed would be a handy replacement and Thomas playing another game is like for like.

No way in hell Edwards will play reserves.

In: Edwards
Out: Thomas

KMac stays as sub.

Thomas gave us steel in the middle.
Morris was aggressive at half back where he belongs.
He was a fan favourite when he started his career in that spot.

But we need to find room for edwards and maybe conca later.
Knights might squeeze back in later if the gods are just.

I'd say: no change.

Surprised at the drop Thomas calls, thought he earnt another game.

LOL at Miles being dropped before Thomas. Thomas had a good game? Sheesh, our standards are pretty low. He was serviceable but only had 4 kicks, looked slow. We had 1 tackle for the first qtr, Thomas trying to make an impact, he should have been leading the way on that stat in the first qtr.

In: Edwards (or McDonough)

Out: Thomas

Agree.

Reckon our small forwards were made to look ok yesterday too. They had a lot of room to strut their stuff and they will not have that against the Pies. The Lloyds, Lennons etc. will get shut out by the Pies backman. Vickery in big games generally plays only average. We are no sure thing against Collingwood and they would be rightly pleased to stuff up our top four/eight chances by beating their old foe.

Our forward line needs a lot more work and maybe a change of personnel. Could this be game to bring in McBean - use Jack and Vickery as decoys and McBean kicks a bag - Swans do that with Reid (using Franklin and Tippett as decoys)

Our midfield has to put pressure on the other way - why the likes of Miles, Delidio, Martin and to a lesser extent Cotchin don't tackle is beyond my football nous? Thomas and Maric tried hard to lay effective tackles inside packs, but they are in close players who can't catch the opposition outside runners.

We have to fire up against Collingwood or they will make us pay.

Out: Thomas, Morris

In: Edwards if fit, and the Collingwood specialist, McBEAN!

Is Miles injured? If he is, Thomas stays
