Changes v #lolNorf

Ok my bad. Should have used the work anxious or apprehensive instead?

You are right in that we should expect a contest like with Melbourne and Collingwood.

Wish I shared some people’s optimism. Reckon we r in for a tough day on Sunday.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. If it was at the MCG it would be a different story.

Anyone know what our recent record (say since 2014) at Etihad is?

Just like the 8 ball and one or two others, past history seeps into my brain.

Love to have the confidence that some on here have, but I always seem to have this somewhat expectation of losing.

Under normal circumstances I am a positive person, but being a lifelong Tiger, it goes with the territory...hope to win but have no delusions about losing.

I get it. You are describing many of us. You can try another way though.

I said to someone at work this week - this must be what it’s like to be a hawks supporter. Other than the three plus decades of misery

Media are pumping up #lolNorf, saying this match is ripe for an upset. #lolNorf can make their season today.

Every other time the media has done this before a match of ours, the media have told us how brave the other team was. It won't be different today. For a team everyone thought would be spooners, to only lose by 7 goals is a great result.

Best I could fine

We’ve played north at dock lands 13 times since it opened
5 win 8 loses.
So going by that we will lose.

Yep a 7 goal win to us will be a great result for both teams. Win win.

Pretty interesting analysis and hones in on how you can’t get from the TV what we are doing.

good read.

hesitation is death against richmond :hihi

I suspect to hasten is to perish even faster ;D

what he fails to mention in the crows loss, is while Pyke was setting career highs, we also lapsed and played *smile*.

which will happen again.

Nailed it, he calls it a " 2 layer system"

Richmond call it D1, D2 & D3

D1 immediate pressure around the contest
D2 pressure 15-20m from the contest
D3 rest of the ground

and the only real combat to relentless, organised pressure

is have 22 faster, tougher, fitter *smile* than us.

and thats not going to happen during an opposition analysis meeting

Hi guys, just upgraded to level 1 tix for tomorrow. I am assuming the Richmond Cheer Squad will be at the Coventry end?

Good article. Shame that some of the professional football writers can't or don't do stuff like that. What it does point out very well is that if the opposition isn't at their very best for the whole 120 minutes they'll lose to us.

Watching the sydney kid last night, ronke(?), made me think why still no one this year has tried to follow the richmond model with one tall forward and a bunch of mozzies. Richmond are still killing it. You would think someone would try it.
