North have gone in tall. We'll run em ragged.

That is what we will have to do. Brown is my big concern. Marks everything and is a good kick for goal. Waite, not too fussed about.

Who will go to Brown I wonder?

Haven’t they though??

Very old school
3 big talls at either end and a ruck.
If they had a ruck on the bench I’d check the calendar to see if it was the 80s.

To br fair, tgryve probavly asked their forwards to try to outmark rance astbury & grimes at least once.

Id think Dave will go to Milton the Monster and Tross will get Waite.

I get the tall fwd line. Try beat us in the air and out score us.

But the tall defence makes no sense.

Good luck beating rance astbury grimes broad and vlastuin in the air.

Brown on the lead is deadly. Arguably the best in the comp at the moment.

Waite is in career best form just ask coach salty. Mason Wood is a gun. Tall fast strong and mobile. Will become one of the best in the game I reckon.

teams need to try something to have a point of difference in an attempt to be the comps best. Tall FWDS would be norths strength.

Not saying it will work, but it has some logic. Compare that to playing a tall defence? No Logic at all!

Noticing that De Boy and Razor Ray are umping our game !!! ::)

Tigers could be 8 goals down at 1/4 time courtesy of these two dicks and their 50 m penchants.

These two running our game and at the dome means Tigers are gonna have to be SWITCHED ON AF.

Bloody hell - Razor is the wanker who gave all the free's kicks against our backs for arm chops and in the back etc last time against a tall so this will be hard..

Richmond and Kangas #1 and #2 for defence.

Since tall blokes are easier to stop in the air than small blokes are on the ground, Rance, Astbury, Grimes, Vlastuin, etc will perform like normal, while North's defenders won't. If we're hungry in all other aspects, that should be the difference.

Your defence can't win you games when: Unpredictability. Upsets. Defence.

I don't think I've been to dome since Northntanked against us 2015.

Is there any standing room area there? I don't like the top deck there and couldn't be stuffed buying resrveed seats lower down.

My suggestion is to be optimistic until you have reason not to be. Otherwise you will walk around feeling miserable for no good reason.

Currently there is no reason not to be optimistic as a tigers supporter.

I don't know about this lolnorf business. To me they are no laughing matter. We owe them multiple large & embarrassing beatings. And just when you think they are down & out they bounce back up to the upper reaches of the ladder. We need to make a statement this match IMO even if we have to give some of our stars a rest next week and send our VFL side to take on the gals in Perth.

I’m not walking around miserable at all and I will be there tmrw to watch the boys. I just don’t feel like this game is a walk in the park ‘will be out usual 6-7 goal win’ like some are suggesting. I’m not saying we won’t win but they have shown to be a very good side this year - strong in the contest and they have a very good defence. They also have Brown, Waite and Wood - all in good form and who I think will be our biggest test since the crows game. Huge game. Can’t wait.
