I dont care if we toss the season in the bin.

A crap year this year will hurt the playing group and with our stars near the end it will be just the tonic and the spur the players need to hit 2022 with renewed enthusiasm vigor and intent ala 2019.

There will also be much less focus on us, as we are dead and buried in all and sundries eyes and it will all be on the Dogs, Cats, Dees and Bears ect especially whoever snatches the flag this year one of the easiest and most open races ever.

Fully fit and primed and conditioned after a solid pre season. and with renewed motivation we are very chance to win the flag next year without injuries and and some shrewd list management.

We also should not get a top 4 draw .....even though we know damn well that we will.

Ive thought the same since the Melbourne loss.
We look tired and there's nothing to prove finishing with bullshiit wins.
Don't bring back Prestia Lambert and Nakas back give them 3 months to fully recover.
The last thing we need is all 3 rushing back in and getting injured again and having them in the rehab group during the pre-season.
Martyn Ross Cd Dow Ralphsmith Cumberland and Naish should play out the season.
Let's see if we can find one ready for 2022

I agree that our small forwards seem to be nowhere near the fall of the ball if it is spoiled. Just really can't understand this. Pretty damned hard to run the ball out of our forward line when we are at the fall of the ball. Pretty damned hard to put pressure on defenders when we are nowhere near the fall of the ball.

Just where the hell are our small forwards? If you want to kick goals from crumbing, or if you want to lock the ball in the forward line, you don't leave the opposition alone where the ball will fall if it is spoiled.

DS
I miss watching KB do his thing up forward.

Can we get him back to teach our current batch how to crumb? Pleeeeeeeeeease???

Confidence must be rock bottom. While I'd love us to give Brisbane a physical working over after the earlier game, we're just not in any shape to do it. Interested to see whether we go hard early like last week and inevitably tire, or try something else.

Rest any injured players and que sera, sera. If that means we're fated for a bottom six draw in 2022, accept it.

Nank, Edwards and Lambert are likely to play this Friday.
On Prestia, they said just tightness but misses almost a month.
Vlusuin, im guessing he'll be ready next week V Cats and maybe Prestia too.

Fat lady started singing yet.
Started clearing the throat first few minutes of the last qtr against Essendrugs.
Moved into her scales n throat exercises last qtr against Wet Coke.
Rolled fully into thunderous operatic funeral dirge during the St.Kiddenme and hasn't let up yodeling since.
*smile* is squawking loud enough to drown out Sabbath, Purple, Motorhead n Metallica all by her lonesome n won't even raise a sweaty brow doing it.

Riewoldt cannot play if there are no crowds. It will be a major injustice.

Last four last quarters our Achilles heal due to the new lads unable to run out a full game. Get Caddy Parker & Ross in. Out Dow Mansell RCD & Naish with one of them medical sub.

a new Achilles heal could be OK I guess?

give us an opportunity to plant a seed and learn from, with 3 players who are very important to the way we play.

we honestly cannot take a trick this year.

The Brisbane game at the Gabba was packed with obnoxious, unknowledgable, Brisbane fans, who booed and carried on and manufactured the most 1-sided free-count of the year,

and on the return bout, jack's 300,

crickets chirping.

I'm looking forward to the draft

I would be more than happy to wrap up this season now. Lock in Hopper and Horne for next year.

It could be the Geelong Jumper, or the greasy hair,

but Horne reminds me of Gary Ablett sr.

is he a chance to go outside top 5?

I'd say those 2 would be an instant midfield rejuvenation.

No chance he goes past Norths first pick. But hey stranger things have happened.

The old codger will bring in anyone taller then 195 to exploit our lack of height.
I hope he does and it pisses down.
If we can just beat them tommorow night and Geelong next week.
I would still give this season a massive tick.
2 wins boys, stay strong

In : Premiership Warriors, Masks (if crowd allowed)

Out : Crowds (if no crowds)

What I am hoping to see - Ruthless Richmond

What I may see - Given North and Essedons game at Marvel has been moved, The AFL may just tell us to get on a plane somewhere at last minute (no idea if Lions have landed yet)

What 100% we will see - Brisbane with 20 players on the ground - Play on nothing to see here.

I'm cooked.
