Dimma indicated that Nank, Vlastuin, Lambert, Sheds & Dion may not be ready for Friday! Nash, Aarts and Cotch (managed). We still need Chol. I was critical, but did he hurt his ankle in the first quarter? Besides if he goes, we want him to continue to play for a better pick?

*smile* hell.

time to tank then.

Where has Ben Miller gone - he was in the frame to play and now has dropped of the radar. Didn't play in the VFL on the weekend

For those calling for Caddy's inclusion look at yesterdays game through the following lens.

From Kane Cornes (yes he is a flog)

“I was going through a stage of my career where I was chasing kicks, getting cheap handball receives around the back and Phil Walsh called me in and said ‘what we’re going to do now is every Monday you’re going to turn up in my office at 8am and we’re going to watch every single one of your possessions and I’m going to tell you if it was a damaging possession and challenge you whether that was a damaging possession’,” Cornes told SEN Breakfast.

Very few of Caddy's disposals had real hurt factor.
saw the first half - 50% to opposition

play PARKER..BAKER AND STACK as the three mean machine smaller fowards...tell em to tackle like its 2017..get to the fall of every bomb....all year webomb it and all the oppostition has to do is spoil..the run outta our foward line into theirs has never been easier..do we ever have a small foward or mid at the fall of those bombs??..no we dont..castagna..aarts and the entire midfeild is always up the ground lightly jogging on the spot....we need desperate and hungry tacklers...parker ..stack and baker are the ones....i mean how lively is our foward line when baker is down there??...to me this is a no brainer....

Might as well pull the rug on the season and get our older in jured and hobbled blokes rested and ready to rumble with a full pre season.

No merit running them into the ground in games that we wont win anyway.

2022 we can win it if we start now.

I agree that our small forwards seem to be nowhere near the fall of the ball if it is spoiled. Just really can't understand this. Pretty damned hard to run the ball out of our forward line when we are at the fall of the ball. Pretty damned hard to put pressure on defenders when we are nowhere near the fall of the ball.

Just where the hell are our small forwards? If you want to kick goals from crumbing, or if you want to lock the ball in the forward line, you don't leave the opposition alone where the ball will fall if it is spoiled.

Hardwick said that none of 9 will be ready to play, yet Balme said Lambert and Edwards will probably play. If Balme is right and these 2 play we're a chance so need to put the best team possible on the park. I know there's lots of realistic pessimism about the rest of this year but where there's a glimmer of hope I say go for it. Either way Aarts and Naish have to go out this week for either Edwards and Lambert or if they aren't right maybe Ross or Martyn and Parker.

I really doubt we will not go 100% for the win until it is impossible for us to make the finals, which is probably our 11th loss, possibly our 12th loss. and even then we probably wont be sending many, if any off for early breaks. we will fight til the end, despite the calls that will come from us fans to rest everyone over the age of 25 and to play the kids.

We are about to be punished with the Friday night game no certainty.
According to the HS web site we are about to be pushed to different time slots due to our"horror" results.
The AFL are considering their actions in this regard.
Anything to put the boots into the RFC.

WTF is wrong with Nank?

Was hoping to get him and a few others back this week.

Beat Brisbane and Geelong in consecutive weeks and send shockwaves through the competition.

But it seems the injury gods just won't allow it this year.

Not playing Thursday and Friday nights may actually mean we get better breaks between games.

We're cooked Harry, you can start planning for September events.
