Changes v Hawks

Safe to say he hasn't done major damage given he played last week and it a pretty manageable injury in general so you would think so.

Having said that, it is considered one of the more painful things to play through.
That’s a political response.

Or as an old song went, “ I maybe be wrong but then I maybe rightttt!”. Or, “ I like it both ways”. And I will have 10 EW thanks books.

Really looking forward to seeing Ross play again.
Thought he had some really good games last year.

Pressure now intensifies on all but moreso on Stackie and Fridge, who get another reprieve following 2 poor games each.

Baker and the great man to walk back in next week I would expect.

A bad one tomorrow night will probably cost you your spot.

No room for complacency tomorrow night which is good.

Would agree wholeheartedly if someone could explain when "other than tomorrow night" there's room for complacency?

Can’t believe people still ask for Castagna to be dropped. Did you see him in the finals series last year? Absolutely amazing he was. He’s been fine this year too...same for Rioli, he didn’t excel last week but he was corralling and putting on pressure, he made par. And Pickett has looked really good to me both matches...he played lower game time last week, he’s probably a few weeks off being up to the mark but he’s still best 22 even at 90%. You can’t see everything on TV to make you a better judge than match committee

Will be interested to see what happens with Liam, my Sister had to get permission from the Gov to fly to Melb to see my Dad who isn't well, flew back on Saturday and has to self isolate for 14 days. Anyone flying to WA still has to self isolate as far as I'm aware - don't know if Liam has been given special permission to avoid doing that. Hope so, otherwise he'll probably miss 3 games!

Id say he got another hit on them against the maggots, probably has some bruised ribs or minor structural soft tissue damage associated with it.

He'll be right with the week off.

Disappointing though.

Better now than later in the year, round 3 is a good time to err on the safe side.

Can confirm, had 3 cracked ribs from a ruck leaping into me front on some years back, I tried to finish the game but couldn't I was out from memory for 4-5 weeks in real pain, even sleeping at night was tough, although I may be a bit of a sook haha but geez they hurt!
Might need a name change to Tigernotsotough1974

Bit harsh on TT74!
Having had both bruised ribs and cracked ribs can say its pretty painful. I can remember lying on the couch after the match and too sore and sad for myself to move.
But i once copped a punctured lung, played on for about 3 more minutes then took myself to the bench and threw up.
Tried to run back out after halftime and couldnt, felt like an alarm clock bouncing around in my chest. Defo the most painful experience

This game just got hell of a lot tougher without dusty especially if we throw up that same trash from last thursday.
To be fair, we gave them a 4 goal head start and then iced them for the rest of the game.
Buckley seriously clogged our forward line but at scores even lambert and Prestia could have both broken the deadlock in our favour but both dropped the handball receive.

Pretty sure you can get special permission to fly into WA for a funeral ( if he had to self isolate for 14days he would miss it). the flying out part is easy, we take anyone here in VIC except those coming from OS.

If Baker was to stay in WA he would need to isolate for 14 days. I do not know the rules for him being there and going to funeral and interacting with other mourners. However he could go into WA with permission attend the funeral then leave. Comes back to Vic and does not have to isolate anymore.

Rfc4Ever, I'll take another game like Ross's debut game for the undermanned Tigers against Port, amongst a multitude of others the Skip was out, Ross was played in the guts and was like a Cotch clone:clap2, now he just needs to up his game and cover the loss of an even greater man :) below are Ross's stats from that game:

The 18-year-old midfielder showed why he is AFL quality at Adelaide Oval, collecting 25 disposals at a stunning 88 per cent efficiency, 10 contested possessions, five tackles and three inside 50s.
