Scott Homewood 3 years 196cm 2000-2002
Ben Miller 3 years 195cm 2018-2020

Ben Darrou 3 years 190cm 2012-2014
That is very impressive Lee. Hats off, but still none in the last 20 years.
Saw a lot of Miller (and Balta/Bolton) in the VFL in 17, and then in 18, but no opportunities for anyone their now.
We are in our glory days and he has been looking for a job in one of our best back lines ever.
He is fast; he has good anticipation and goes out to meet the ball rather than just watch his opponent.
Hope he makes it.

Yes correct but I wasn't specifically talking about RFC draftees only

Your dates are wrong , Ben was drafted 17 so played VFL 18 & 19, believe me I reckon I saw every 1 of those games he played (along with Caesar), we were very disappointed in his progress.

Not saying he wont make it but looked a mile off for mine

I was a fan of Gourdis because of his athleticism.

Miller seems a similar type.

I reckon you missed one Taz?, (or was it 2018), at Casey when I reported that Miller had a breakout game, (my bad:rotfl1), he was BOG up till 3/4 time and Ryan Ferguson pumped him up at 3/4 time huddle and said move forward son you're killing it.
Unfortunately that's been pretty much it from Ben from my viewing.
He is quick, good kick, but tends to double grab or drop marks and will stay down a lot rather than attacking packs and agree he has looked a fair way off.
That said that was 2019 and none of us have seen any of the later scratch matches or training this year to see if any gains have been made .

Sorry my dates were indeed wrong. It was seasons 18 and 19. but unless you are now resident on the GC impossible for you and Ceasar to extrapolate on what may have happened to Miller at 6' 5", had he played VFL this season. He is tall, fast, courageous and a good kick, Reminded me very much of a young Rance, whom I understand he spent a lot of time training with prior to this season. And Rance came along slowly.

No probs , I hope he makes it also.

I will be rapt if I am wrong

Yep you are right it was Holm Park, i knew it was somewhere out in the sticks.

When I've seen Miller Chol wipes the floor with him for engagement. Young for his years.

This was good for Miller. If he engaged he could improve.

Maybe that's been happening in 2020. If Miller is in the frame for selection, and the club was putting his name about this week, he must've improved, and by extension engaged. Emergency this week. That's a promotion. Until we see him it's all the evidence we've got.

Played in the school band with Justin Paul. He played the tuba.

Regular gigs there I remember. A good guy.
