Do you we bring in Sampson to make us an aerial threat and hold May/Lever accountable? 3 talls Riewoldt/Millar/Ryan? Or do we just bring in Cumberland and he can play the hybrid tall and we retain some pace?

We bring in cumberland. Our foward line is a bloody mess
We need an actual foward who is capable of multiple goals and the only one is cumbo

Ryan is no aerial threat to May and Lever.

Can't see any changes except Coulthard and Mansell to swap perhaps.

Although I would bring in Cumberland.

Mansell had a subpar game but may hold on to his spot v the Dees or is the Sub.
Coulthard comes in on that last qtr performance.

Cumberland has to come in after kicking 6 goals. Short from what I heard on SEN will also come in.

Banks played well but could go out if short is definitely available.

Our 3 lowest ranked players on the ground were Miller, Pickett, and Young

Reckon Marlion needs a spell. When's Shorty back? 2-4 weeks?

Won't happen of course but our best chance of winning IMO

Really like Coulthard’s energy and warming to Banks but not sure you can have them both in the same team in a finals like game next week.
We simply need to win and need all the experience we’ve got.
In: Short, Cumberland.
Out: Banks, Mansell.
Sub: Mansell

For me it’d be:
Out: Miller (was terrible yesterday - didn’t compete at stages), Banks, Mansell.
In: Ryan, Short & Cumberland. Coulthard to remain as Sub.

If we want to retain Mansell or Coulthard in the starting 22, then either McIntosh or Pickett can go. The Pickett experiment forward hasn’t worked & he needs to go back to midfield or a wing. Aside from the last Quarter, McIntosh was poor yesterday.

If we're any chance against Melbourne, we need Shorty back.
The last two weeks have been wins, but we've been very, very poor through large chunks of those games. Noticeably missing some cohesion on the overlap run, and a target anywhere forward of centre.

Pickett has been extremely poor as a forward. He needs to play wing or not play.

He looked absolutely bereft in the forward line yesterday. I watched him a bit off the ball. He simply doesn't have the instinct or the running patterns to play as a forward. Highlights have been in his leaps over the pack, but he hasn't looked like holding a mark. And if he doesn't leap, he's a non competitor. I'd like the premiership wingers back, but if he's not in the wing calculations, he goes out. I think he could contribute as the sub, and it gives us some flexibility.

Banks is still way off the pace. He looked great the few times he gathered and instinctively raked the ball forward to a target, but is a deer in the headlights with time and space.

Coulthard is interesting. I have a feeling he will have long stretches of invisibility if he starts a game. But he has earned it. I reckon it's time to stack the forward line with spark.

I know it's never gonna happen, but I would play Balta forward in this game. Challenge May and Lever with a guy who plays in front and can take a contested mark. Young can take Brown (easily) and Miller can play on Van Noone. To make it more palatable, we can just say Balta is still playing as an intercepting defender, he's just playing on May or Lever. Doesn't it make sense for him to play on their best, and most influential aerialists?

FB: Miller Grimes Vlastuin
HB: Rioli Young Short
C: Baker Taranto Kmac
FOLL: Prestia Soldo Cotchy
HF: Coulthard Balta Bolton
FF: Dusty Jack Cumberland

Interchange: Hopper Graham Broad Ross
Sub: Pickett

I know it's fantasy. But that's a nightmare forward line to match up on.

A lot of ifs but think about this. If Crows beat 4th place Dees today and we beat Dees next week, we're above Dees on the ladder.

In Short out Banks
Swap Mansell for Coulthard
In Cumberland out Miller
Marlion to pinch hit in ruck when Gawn has a spell on Bench
