Changes v Crows

Don't think Ross has been as bad as others seem to think, but there's a lack of imagination when selecting the team.

Edwards ? Not sure. However Cotchin will never be dropped, await as long as you like
if true what sort of message does that send to vfl plyrs?
i rewatched the dogs game last night focusing on jack shedda & cotch
i was pleasantly surprised by jacks efforts (still cant run or jump) & shedda's increasing influence.
cotch is a worry.
flat footed no presentation, jogs around centre square no sweat, no opponent, no urgency, no kicking precision or depth, lazy infringements, no aerial spoils...one act of desperation.
i getit we all luv him.
manage the guy-make him hungry again.

I'm ok with the Ross selection in KMacs absence has played wing and inside mid so offers a bit of cover for both, hasn't done too much wrong this year other than being a bit pedestrian and not a lot of hurt factor.
Think he will adequately perform the role, (i don't expect others to agree of course and reserve my right to change opinion post match).

It's the lack of footspeed that worries me with the Ross selection. He's too pedestrian for a running role like KMac's.
I'd probably have shuffled things around a bit & moved Hugo or Rioli up the ground but hopefully it won't matter much & we'll still get the job done.

When you think Ross has gone down the kitchen sink he then pops out of the dishwasher with no stains on him whatsoever. Prefer Parker to start on the wing with Mansell on bench & Ross chewing fat wanting to get to Gold Coast.

what does that actually mean?
good question...
Ross isn't a winger?
I dunno, maybe look at someone else there? Mansell? regarded as a back, but has a tank ..
Clarke?
just seems a bit like one dimensional thinking, but what do i know?

I reckon for all his limitations Ross brings more to the party than Parker. At full strength RFC neither would get a gig

Don't they usually take an extra 1or 2 interstate so if someone falls over in the warm up they're covered?
Being interstate I reckon they might even take all of Biggie, Mansell, Soldo and Aarts in case of late positive Covid test result.. It would ensure they basically have all lines covered it late call up is needed.
VFL not till Sunday so no issues there.

Ross again - lol.

We’ve got A grade talent in the magoos yet go back to the D grade talent again. Makes no sense

All the Jack Ross hate is pretty low rent stuff.
Nah, until our coach can show that he knows what it takes to be successful, us nuffies on a fan forum have every right to boost our egos by pretending we know better.

Must admit when I saw Ross named I felt deflated.
Really hope he can grab his chance and he has had plenty.
He is capable, his debut against port showed us that.
He was tracking ok and than he started biting off that kick into the corridor in his debut season 2019??
It's a blur.
If it comes off it's a game changer.
But he didn't pull it off. Reckon it was that classic game against the Eagles towards the end of 2019.
He lost all confidence because we got torched on the turnover.
He ended up getting dropped and had been a shadow of that ballsy inside nugget since.
Whatever happens he will at least know the club gave him a fair crack.

I love jack Ross but I think Cotchin has his spot
Obviously need to keep getting miles into Rossy or someone else as the Cotchinator won't be holding his spot beyond this year if he keeps struggling his way through games. Awful close to pension time for Cotchy n we need to keep finding players to replace him n a few of our other heroes sooner rather than later.
