Changes v Crows

After next week we will still have a positive win/loss record and possibly a % below 90.

At this stage make it a scrap and win ugly tag Adelaides best midfielder.

In Collier D got to play him ...
i just dont think he is physically strong enough at this stage after watching him a few times

Out: Townsend, Higgins, Graham
In: Astbury, Ellis & Broad

-Balta back to 2nd ruck / HFF

Not sure there’s much to come in at this point, VFL form will have a big say on changes, doubt there will be much change

Jenkins will be in AA contention after next week
He kicks goals when playing against our best defender, this is going to get ugly
*is rain expected? Like in 1999??
Should’ve picked up Roughhead

Roughead yes indeed as Damian's policy of one ruckman sic Nankervis has bitten the Tigers on the bum.

From what I have read so far, it appears Dusty has a back problem, and if so would have to be doubtful.

Also, Stacky seemed to sustain an injury to the groin area early on, and again, if so, then he would have to be doubtful as well.

Any news on this front?

In Broad ,Menadue, CCJ for starters even if Ellis & Astbury are fit.

Out Henry Higgins, Towner & Garth.

As an inside mid RCD is yet to get over 18 possessions in VFL and is failing to spread and get contest to contest. That being said if he has a half decent game today he will be in, I know coaches are just waiting for him to put his hand up.

Astbury had scans on hammy so def won't play.

During our great run there was glowing praise on here for the fitness staff... SHould they be on the hook now?

I always thought it was the footy gods looking after us. Nothing to do with the fitness team.

If it continues for more then a season, no doubt there will be questions asked , however I th8nk Burge has proven he can do an outstanding job at maintaining players fitness and bringing them back at the correct time, fair chance this years injury run is as simple as the games bloody hard and *smile* happens and we are having a bad run which happens to ever club.

Going to be a very tough week at the selection table for the match committee.

The cupboard is a bit bare at the moment what with all the injuries decimating the available list.

Only players in VFL side who could possibly be called up probably just aren't ready to senior footy yet. That said, maybe "throwing 'em to the wolves" might reveal a few things. There is, of course, the possibility that exposure to AFL too early could damage their development. Who knows??

Nevertheless, some changes need to come of such a dispirited effort against Geelong.

They have been bagging Walker all year, he will be back to AA calculations after Thursday night.
