Changes v Cats

Chol had a break-out game, rucking, in the VFL against Essendon but thought his follow up game against North, again rucking, was average.

Training wise he is doing the forward/ruck role.

I too think this game is a free hit and doubt we win so wouldn't mind some experimentation, maybe Chol forward/ruck and Balta back?

Caesar, interesting to know where you think Chols best position is. When I've seen him play forward I reckon he plays from behind a lot and therefore he doesn't impact enough. Maybe he does that as he finds it easier to read the ball in flight. If so, I reckon he's be an option down back but has he been tried there before in the VFL? That's the position IMO he would be best at from what I've seen of him. Thoughts?

What do you base either of those comments on?

Graham and rioli to come back in gives us more steel. Cotch will be much better with a game under his belt. Ellis is no loss at all. The cats are beatable outside their shoebox especially at the G The swans nearly beat them last week. They are 2.5 games on top. It won't surprise if they don't go full throttle.

Pity these games weren't played the other week around. After his game against Essendrugs I'd have been comfortable seeing him get a seniors run. After his game against #lolnorf you seriously wonder why you'd bother.
Cholly's got half a season left to provide something worthwhile, there's holes opened up all over the ground you could do donuts in with a B double n Cholly looked to have parked the Trabant on the side lines last week.

Rather play a midfielder in the ruck, all hitouts are ineffective compared to what an actual footballer contributes to the contest.

Two back men out
But we bring no one in to cover for them?

Vlaus and Balta go back. I thought broad has been poor for several weeks.

Gawd no Broad - we have gone even shorter in the backline with Broad and Astbury (inj) both out - given we got beat in the air against lolnorf, this has me a bit worried me thinks - hope the weather gods open up again and it buckets down.

Theyve obviously decided its time for Noah to start getting used to playing key back.

Noah will get the job on Ratulgolea and Stanley when they go forward.

Dont know if its going to work tbh but they are rolling the dice.

Butler lucky to stay in the side.

if Bakta plays back, who chops out Soldo in the ruck?

Unlike Dimma to make so many changes. And would prefer Bolton to Butler.

Time to re-ignite the 3 amigos.
