They're 7-3-1 with Mumford in the side. He doesn't dominate against us and is sore every time he plays now, but his inclusion helps them.

Last time Dusty was the difference and we needed a lucky bounce at the death. Reckon the odds are all wrong on this one.

Mumford is a big clumsy brute who sets out to hurt people, but so does Nank, in a slightly more subtle way perhaps. You'd have to say Mumford has had a good career and a renaissance at the Giants.

Notwithstanding the massive losses of Dusty and Balta in particular, the ins outweigh the outs. Considerably.

Out: Greene, Green, Hill, Riccardi, Buntine, Flynn, Briggs, Buckley.

Close. Slightly weaker this time maybe.

Cotchin Bolton Edwards Lambert Prestia is our entire midfield missing last time. Besides Bolton, the other 4 have had a very interrupted season, but are now starting to string some games together and finding form. If we can get in the 8, and these 4 can continue on the improve, then anything is possible imo.

Hope I'm wrong but I think we're a bit exposed on the wings especially with a weakened backline aerially.

Seeing this is an elimination final, I would have preferred the hardness and running ability of Pickett and McIntosh in the team this week.

I'm a fan of both Dow and Ralphsmith and hope they stand up in the pressure cooker tonight, however I hope at the end of the game we're not saying we should have played Kmac and Marlion instead.

I like your optimism but we have half of our battle hardened defence out so it is the one spot we are significantly weaker
