This won't be popular, but I want to see Ralphsmith dropped for this week. I think he's going to be a good player but needs to work on his contest work... which he has acknowledged earlier in the season in an interview. He's not great one on one, both when the ball is in the air or on the ground.

He looks good in space and running to receive but gets beaten too often one on one and goes to ground too easily... for someone with his wheels he needs to fight harder to keep his feet.

The wide open spaces of the MCG suit him better than Marvel.... and we desperately need to win contested ball to turn things around.

I did notice Ross left the Captain's Run earlier than others so maybe he is still troubled by his knee? if so will be 3 matches he has missed.
Dow who was not at the captains run this morning must have replaced Ross i reckon, if Ross was right surely he would be in the starting 22?

But no Ross again still injured, we look light on again in the midfield rotations unfortunately. Gotta hope Shai, Marlion, JGTI, Macintosh, Rioli and Vlaustuin have strong games.

Cant beleive edwards still.plays...sides just kmow to waltz past him...refuses to chase ,refuses to tackle...offers nothing...at least parker stack and george will at least attempt hard pressure....hard not to feel deflated
