Just having a little Bo-Peep at our last match v the Loins, which we won on the bit. Predicted changes from that match:
Out: Lynch, Soldo, Broad, Aarts, Ross, Higgins, Stack, Eggmolesse-Smith
In: Nankervis, Astbury, Prestia, Edwards, Houli, Graham, Caddy, Rioli

Significant in for them would be Martin.

Nank needs to lift, since he's been back he's been poor
What? Are you kidding? It's only a matter of who will offer him back-up. He has been really good since return except one game, as usual.

Will the teams be named tonight or follow the pattern during the season?

Teams announced the day before???

I reckon it will be

Balta Astbury Grimes
Short Vlastuin Houli
Pickett Cotchin McIntosh
Lambert Edwards Castagna
Martin Riewoldt Caddy

Nankervis Prestia Bolton

Int: Baker Rioli Graham Chol

He was horrible, but Chol has to hold his place. Nank cant go it alone.

Chol could also be handy up forward. He is the natural match up for Andrews, and could be used to take him away from the FF line leaving Martin Riewoldt and Caddy to do the damage in the air and one on one.

Ross and Aarts desperately unlucky

The loser will not only have to win a semi to make the GF but they will likely have to face the Power in Adelaide in the prelim. Much harder route to a '20 premiership.
I think this game against the Lions is our biggest challenge of the finals.
If we can manufacture a win without Lynch, the remainder of the journey is via the red carpet.
Lose - as you say, a much tougher route.

Disagree.

If Cats get through and we come up against them in PF (or GF) they are still the team to fear (as is WC with a Kennedy that isn't taken out in the first 15mins)

Still recovering from his injury seven but I think he's been very serviceable apart from his second game back from injury which was poor.
not Saying his been crap.
Been down compared to recent times.
Needs to get back to top form.

I should add, McStay, Birchall and Rich in for them too.

It’s funny reading the outs, thinking *smile* there’s some good players and then you read the ins.....there better

Collectively yeah; but I’d feel super comfy about Friday evening if Lynch hadn’t of tweaked his hammy.

As it stands they’ll just have to pressure them to pieces all over the field 2017 style and have 12 different goal kickers instead.
