Changes against Bulldogs

caesar told me he hurt his knee early in the game

Correct, Hugo was carted off by two trainers in the VFL on the weekend in the 1st quarter seemingly unable to bear any weight and taken straight into the rooms and took no further part in game.
The good news I did spot him walking unaided on the sidelines later so hopefully he escaped anything serious.

Yeah that's fine, but when he's being assessed at the end of the year, all of that will mean jack sh**t.

Right now his career is on the line. He is lazy, he barely gets out of a jog half the time, lacks intensity (particularly in aerial contests where he either drops his head or just makes a weak attempt) and goes missing for huge parts of the game. His lack of effort in his last few games last year was appalling.

If we are forced to play Chol, we won't be making any GF that he's part of, that's for sure. I'll have a carton of beer with you.
I dont know what you edited, but we can only both hope we get there first.

He got a bit of a write up on the club site this week. And we badly need some point of difference.
Maybe Emma will do the trick.

Mabior need the opposite of Emma Murray I reckon.

He needs to dwell entirely in visions of the future.

im not sure what the opposite of Emma Murray is?

Adam Simpson, perhaps?

WESTERN Bulldogs midfielder Josh Dunkley will be sent for major shoulder surgery on Tuesday in the hope of a return later this season.

Dunkley twice injured his shoulder in the Dogs' win over Greater Western Sydney on Friday night before undergoing scans on Monday morning after spending time with family in NSW across the weekend.

It is anticipated Dunkley will miss at least three months – with a best-case return slated for the final month of the home and away season.

Chol is a bigger tease then any blonde I’ve come across on the dance floor at 2 am , 4 am different story  :))

I think Emma is the opposite of the opposite you suggest.

My understanding of Emmas magic is it boils down to gently striving to keep your mind in the present.

im suggesting Mabiors present maybe a bit different, and perhaps he needs to occupy an alternative temporal space with his mind.

he could possibly think about pushing 100kg of wet cement down a narrow slippery path in a wheelbarrow for 40 hours a week, and rucking for Yeronga Devils on Saturdays,

in the near future?

absolutely that’s what it is, I know of a young golf pro a few years back who was cruising along about 6 shots up with 5 holes to play, his mind wondered off from taking one shot at a time , too planning on putting a new spa in the bath room , I believe he went on to finish 7th and had a nice steak dinner with his prize money

the most present ive ever been,

was when I was 18 and blazing a bob Marley trumpet,

driving an old commodore along a long, straight ,country victorian, redgum-lined, dirt backroad on a very dark, still night.

A powerful owl swooped down and flew at the same speed as me (probably 50km/hr), right at eye level for about a kilometre.

at the time, I was certain it was a Pterodactyl. it was wider than my commodore.

and I was entirely present for the entire experience. a good 60 seconds.

It was a glorious minute. I felt eternity and infinity and completely at one and at peace with the flying dinosaur.

when it took its leave, I pushed Lou Reed Transformer into the tape player and it was cued right on Perfect Day.

I suspect dusty feels like that in grand finals.

I really think MRJ and Mabs should play

injury report sounds like;

Grimes right for Dogs

Vlastuin and Dusty back for Geelong

Dion and Lambo 3-4 away

If we can graft a win against Dogs, we're ahead of the ledger and can build a campaign.

if we cant grant a win against Dogs, we're behind the ledger and can build a campaign.

how's that for being present?

Your driving experience sounded like a real hoot.

Hard but fair comment right to the point. Chol could be a good although unlikely a top player if his mindset was right but over the last three seasons or so I have seen no improvement in that sphere. He plays park football but in the big leagues

anyone we might know :)

What a glorious time for the tiger tiger burning bright. we create history in 2021 by winning the flag from 8th and in 2022 by going undefeated and my optimism has absolutely nothing to do with the brandy and cokes that are flowing freely!

Agree Redford. His background and how far he and his family have come from Sudan is very inspiring - and all credit to him for this. He should be proud of how far he has come. And truly, good for him to have 2 phones and Ralph Carr as his manager.

I wish him all the very best for his future, in whatever endeavours he chooses.

But he's a wasted talent. No intensity, no desire to get the most out of his talent.
