Hocking was at the reins when those over payments were made and now he is the same bloke giving out the punishment.
It's Bullshhiit...

12 premiership points deducted from the 2020 season should've been the punishmenh not a spare change fine...

I think that is the question we'd all like answered. Not too much to ask, is it?

Obfuscation and ambiguity are obvious tactics to avoid scrutiny.

It almost always means there is more to the story.

This unfortunately is what you get when journalists require "accreditation" and the main media vehicle is owned by the body that needs to be held to account.

If there's nothing to hide, tell us what they've been penalised for.

Isn't that the point though TBR? They managed to stay under the TPP because they didnt pay the GST?
All I know is that this stinks just like the Bombers self reporting.

Haven't we been caught with administrative errors with the TPP before and only been fined?

We were one of four clubs pinged at the time. Seems the clubs get fined when the players are too slack to update their ASADA apps often enough.

I thought half the point of Fan forums was so that we could bag *smile* out of the oppo clubs n AFL HQ to amuse ourselves, highly important during the off season when there's no real footy going on. Can't rev up n vent during a game so we rev up n vent online.

Seems to be that they made a GST error on management fees paid by the club on behalf of players, presumably to agents/managers.

It's small beer. I know it's fun to get all hysterical about anything Geelong related, but geez guys.

Its a richmond fan forum mate. We all love richmond and hate other teams. If you feel the need to carry on everytime we get stuck in to other teams, what are you actually doing here?
