On the topic of buzzwords ...

I work in IT (itself a buzzword - in the old days I was a computer programmer). I support a mainframe software product which is the best part of 50 years old. All those of us who support it are between 55 and 65. We are surrounded by managers and people in customer-land who are a generation younger and speak a different language. The transcript of a recent support case (or should I say "ticket"?):
A colleague: "Please send me the trace file".
Customer: "It is attached to this message. Hope it helps with the RCA."
Colleague: "What's an RCA?".

Now, I was not surprised that she did not know what RCA stood for. Six months earlier, I probably wouldn't have either. But I was a bit surprised that she didn't have the nouse to realize that it probably was a term that we should know and that a decent google search would reveal it.

Root Cause Analysis. Sheesh. There was a time when we could have called it a WTFWW.
haaha ... I had avoided working anywhere near an IT role for 20 years until an old boss got me across to work on business led team to undo the massive stuff up of the IT run change. So I went in there all nervous I would be a fossil compared to the young and hip who work in IT. Found out most were older and many way older. I asked why and they said systems are run by people as old as the system (more or less) and no one starting out would want to work in the old world tech environment (and this was pre-"apps" and disruption was only applied to the train timetable when going home)

Some people have the weirdest fetish.

No that there's anything wrong with that.

So...

Here you go...

//JSTEP001 EXEC PGM=IEBGENER
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN DD *
//SYSOUT DD SYSOUT=*
//SORTOUT DD DUMMY
//SYSUT1 DD DSN=MYDATA.URMI.ORIG,DISP=SHR
//SYSUT2 DD DSN=MYDATA.URMI.BACKUP,DISP=(NEW,CATLG,DELETE),
// DCB=*.SYSUT1,SPACE=(CYL,(50,1),RLSE)

I don't know what that means, but I'm sure it's

Whats the update ? do they have a coach for season 2022 yet ?
Nah. They’re going picking a sub committee to go through the charade of pretending to go through a list of coaching candidates before announcing Lyon as the new coach. Maybe a week or two to try and make it look convincing

Aren't they still chasing Clarko with a super-mega offer while Wossy sits in the toilet frowning?

I believe that they are hoping Clarkson changes his mind about having a year off with Lyon as a back up.
As for the mega offer, neither will be cheap and with the scum having to pay out Teague, how does this affect their soft cap? Bigger brown paper bags?

Teaguey was on one of those new fangled company employee deals that the Crowbaits invented a few years back. His payout was only in the vicinity of $200,000.
Not sure Carlscum actually know how to operate within a set budget, so no doubt they'll just shovel some loose change into the corridor at appropriate times n someone will come along n hoover up the mess.

And how much of Teague’s payout will be honored ?
didn’t they refuse to payout assistants when they did a clean out for Malthouse ?
publicly daring them to take them to court

Ross Lyon has pulled out. Think the Blues wanted Clarkson, he said no. They they wanted Lyon but got ridiculed for lack of process so thus changed the process. And Lyon doesn't want a bar of it.

Cartoon butchering their coaching process. Looks like Pepper might be the favourite. Must be jealous of his twin Salty at the Pussies.

Are they after a Cook-Scott combo and are just waiting to see how Geecheat’s season finishes up ?

Who the hell would know. What a rabble.

Lyon did the right thing. Dunno why he even entertained the idea.

Comes across like a 'testing the waters' effort from Wossy. Should've realised Cartoon's in swampland.
