Captain Blood is dead

Tragic news  :'(

Just heard it confirmed on 3aw .Clinton Casey will be making a statement later on today.

Yeah it is true, what a true Tiger he was. He totally epitomised the Tiger spirit.

Rest it peace Captian Blood.

R.I.P Jack. Condolences to the family.

Here's hoping Jack left with memories of his Mighty Tigers in better days, not this insipid, underperforming team of recent times.

If anyone wants to post tributes to Jack here I'll forward them on to his family as I did to Jamie Tapes family when he died.

RIP Mr Football.

Jack epitomised what was Richmond, and will go down as a legend if ever there was one.

Unfortunately will have this current crop of losers as his last memories of his beloved Tigers.

You are the name and image behind our proud club Jack, Rest in Peace.

You are a true Icon of the Richmond Football Club.

A legend of the Yellow and Black who epitomises the pride of the jumper.

Condolences to the family.

I hope this tragic news provides a stark reminder to the current Players and Committee as to why this great club was once feared and respected.

Jack you were everything that is Yellow and Black

Your memory will live long at Tigerland

Passed away at 1pm this afternoon :'(

Jack Dyer was Richmond. He was the public face and spirit of the Tigers for all of us growing up watching World of Sport.

Let's hope Richmond play with some heart for Jack this Sunday.

Hopefully that pathetic rabble on Sunday do some form of justice to his memory............fortunatley Jack never knew what was around him of recent and wouldn't have known what a rabble his club has become

Rest In Peace Jack.

Eat ' em Alive Tigers

And there I was thinking this year could not possibly get any worse. How wrong could I be?
R.I.P. Jack Dyer forever Richmond.
Condolences to the Dyer family.

RIP Captain Blood

The true meaning of Richmond.

Though too young to have seen Jack play, I like all Tiger fans are well aware of his massive contributions to our wonderful club. Seeing Jack do a lap of the ground prior to a Richmond V Collingwood game a few years certainly ago brought tears to my eyes.

Rest In Peace Jack.

Show some passion tomorrow Tigers and do him proud.

What a sad day for all Richmond supporters. Unfortunately I was not alive to watch him play. His impact on our club can not be overstated. Jack Dyer was Richmond. Richmond's history would not have been the same without him. Rest in Peace.

Condolences to the Dyer family.
