If Brad Sewell and Campbell Brown can be considered decent AFL footballers, then maybe so can Daniel Jackson and Matt White.

Seriously, the careers of both Sewell and Brown took off when Clarkson introduced a more contested style to Hawthorn in his early years. When the game closed down today, suddenly Jackson and White's competitiveness overshadowed their deficiencies with clean disposal. Its the same for Sewell and Brown.

Sewell is a gun and much much better than those other 3. Slow start after coming back from injury but still a good player.

The hit was fair and just good tough footy. On the other hand going up to Jackson as he was going to the bench was a dog act.

Well done to Matty White for giving it to him.

Would love him in our team.

Agree he is tough and uncompromising. He also played a blinder when the Dawks won the flag, kicking one of the most inspirational goals in the game.

Nobody has kicked a goal like that for us in over 30 years....

Wrong.

He's a cheap sniper and everyone admits this but Hawthorn supporters. Also a talentless hack who has little man syndrome similar to a Jake King.

He is an average footballer who is fiercely competitive.

He is tough - in that he cops a lot of what he dishes out. But he is not tough in that he plays the man instead of the ball far too often. He is also a bit of a niggler (think Josh Carr).

Sort of player the Hawks are happy to have, but not essential and they'd be happy to shop him around come trade period. Hang on.....
