Callum Coleman-Judas - extricate yourself to Nth Ballarat, you git

CCJ is going to be a very good player for Richmond.
Strong in the air, pretty good at ground level and mobile for a big man.
Gets to the contests.
Hope he has a really good VFL finals series, then puts in the hard yards over pre-season.
Believe he could get a number of senior games under his belt in 2020.
Going to be a player

Really Really good game today from this young star in the making.... 2020 will be his anouncement and more winnining for da tiggeeez

Is probably going to have to bide his time, which is unfortunate, because i'm sure he would acquit himself very well if given an opportunity.

Contracted to us till end of 2021.
Time on his side and I think he will play regular senior footy in a couple years

Imagine if Soldo continues to improve on current performances, Nankervis maintains his past performances, and Chol/CCJ’s upside is obviously on the up in a big way it makes you think when all 4 are fit and firing on all cylinders there’s going to be some serious pressure on spots in the Ruck. Amazing transformation in a short amount of time.

I can't remember a more prospective ruckman playing in Tiger colours performing so well at such a young age. Ottens maybe. Very exciting talent is CCJ.

CCJ, Nank, Soldo and Chol what do we do with them all?
Nank and Soldo are out and out ruckmen, i think Chol's best position is going to be in the ruck.
With Riewoldt 31 next month, can we make a forward out of CCJ. He's a great mark and an ok kick, worth tying i reckon, as i'd hate for any of them to be traded.

I’m comfortable with us developing all 4 as Rucks if that is there best position. If that results in one getting traded out for needs (maybe a young KPF) then all good.

It’s a but like our plethora of smalls. We have shown how good we are at selecting and then developing them. If we can cash them in for draft picks or other needs as required then all good.

You're 100% correct, i'm an old fogey and still getting my head around trading players.
Or maybe your're 90% correct ;)

Prospective rucks are valuable at the trade table. What did Carltoon pay for Robbie Warnock? Picks 24 and 56. (Plus 72 for 69).

What did Collingwood pay for Cam Wood? Pick 14.

What did Richmond pay for Nank? Pick 46. What did GC pay for Witts? Picks 44 and 62. Rucks aren't worth what they were.

Chol will be a forward/ruck, CJ a ruck/forward. The other two are both pure rucks.

Happy to have 4 Rucks on the list in future, allows us to manage the workload during the season & gives us good cover in case of injury, i recall at start of yr we were all dreading a Nankervis injury but we have since found out we are ok in that area.

We have often been told that rucks take a long time to mature into a beast. From what I have read it seems that CCJ is maturing much faster than anyone could have expected. Bodes well for our future

Developing well I admit at draft time if we were to take a ruck I preferred Hayes who got drafted by port

Has great hands took 5 contested marks in the vfl final looked pretty good in the ruck think he’s a forward/ruck rather than a ruck who can pinch hit while resting

Also tackles hard lots to love about ccj expect the crows to chase him hard at some point does need to work on his goal kicking though

We saw the benefits of giving games to promising juniors this year. If injuries don’t give him a chance in 2020 then we need to make an opportunity to give him a run of a few games

Crows have O'Brien and if they were to snare Grundy the pressure would be off.
