Funny the grog thing comes up.
My apprentice has mutual friends.
He tells me he is loose and a bit of a grog monster.
 
He wants to go that's fine, good luck and good bye. Lets face it its not like he set the world on fire when he played averaging 20 disposals and 5 goals a game. We hopefully get pick 20 and reload for a few more tilts at the ultimate
 
I’d suggest we’re getting nothing for him. Pick 20 is a pipe dream. I guarantee you all that this crapola club in Norf will walk him through the PSD.

Not happy to lose him. Has serious potential. We develop him and Norf pinch him for peanuts.

I think pick 20/22 is spot on for his trade value , not that it really comes into but that’s the price we paid, he’s started to really dominate at VFL level, played well enough to show his potential at AFL level and at the age of 22 with 4 years development from an outstanding group he is now primed to become a very good tall, as we all know the big doofuses take a little longer for there balls to drop.

I hate the idea of losing him for nothing - especially to NM. But we’re more likely to get nothing than their pick 20

In a parallel universe if we had pick 20 and a CCJ equivalent wanted to come to us - would we do the trade?
I'm not so sure. Pick 30 or so - possibly.

We’ve always been fair and reasonable with our trading. We’ve gifted the Suns and Saints good players for next to nothing.

Can’t see the relevance in terms of why NM would give us anything at all for CCJ if they can get him for zilch.
Don't like it - just reality.

hope so, because at the moment it appears we’re getting picked off year after year. From assistant coaches, to fringe players and to now young players.
 
Not overly worried about losing CCJ but I will be pissed if Norf offer nothing.

The relevance was to the point about us doing the same thing if we were Norf. Going on how we conduct our business I don’t think we would walk him to the PSD. I’m certain we would be reasonable and trade one of our second round picks.

I just suspect that pick 20 is probably a bit too high a price for them to pay and that we’ll have to accept something less than that.
