Brandon Ellis

Thank you for being a good servant of the club
You have provided us joy at times, but now the time has come to bid farewell to each other.
I wish you well in your future endeavours.

Lost his way big time. Offers nothing to the team as despite his running prowess, he butchers virtually ever pass he makes be it by foot or hand. Needs to go back to McCrae and relearn the basics before being considered for AFL again.

Yep anyone other than Ellis pleeeaasee ! As I’ve said elsewhere I will not watch at least the next game if he is in the team along with butler. Butchers who lack courage sheesh Richmond wake up !!!!!!!

Total CAT. Liability to the team, but we knew that lady season

Why is he still on the list?
He wasn’t in the best 22 late last year, so why did they keep him.
We pissed away the perfect opportunity to get pick 99 :hihi

Brando has some assets, like his ability to keep running.

In the past he was valuable out in space when he was played on the wing, but in the last few years, it's become harder to find space on a footy field and i'm not sure Brando is coping that well with this. His ability to a) take possession cleanly, and b) spend the ball quickly and efficiently once he has taken possession, just seems to take a bit too long.

I hate saying anything negative about our guys, and sometimes weaknesses can be worked on, but i'm not sure how Brando works through this. Our forward plays are too often breaking down around him. At his age, there are guys going past him. With a full list to pick from, you could easily mount an argument that someone like Sydney Stack has already taken his place. He doesn't have Brando's endurance, but not many do. But Stack's decision making and ball use look miles ahead already.

We need to change things up a bit, and injuries are forcing us to do that, but Stack proves that there is a lot to be gained and not feared by giving opportunity to kids who may be ready to freshen up and improve the senor side.

The ability to run all day matters little these days. All players are fit, well rested and managed so they can run out games.

We have a team full of players who can run all day. The problem is a few of em can’t kick or mark or handball very well.

Stack wasn't dominating preseason or vfl praccy matches. Pretty confident that the likes of ross bolton naish and baker would show more than ellis also.

Ellis has played many games (too many I reckon) so the coaching staff know what they can expect from him. Surely it is time to give the likes of Bolton, Baker and even Naish a chance at AFL level. Ellis has played in a premiership team (and good on him for doing that) but he hasn't shown any improvement in his game since then, in fact it looks like he has gone back to his 2016 form. He simply adds nothing to us going forward.

Spot on with those four. Time to find out.

Markov also not showing the necessary poise.
