Okay, this time last year we got an easy $3.65 for Gold Coast to roll the Cats at home, which they duly did. Some big ins for the Suns (Lynch, Day, Martin) and the Cats can't score. $3.40 this year, get on. Generous +22.5-point start too, I'll save on that.

I think the Suns will win also. Like you say, big INS for GC, is it their first game back at Metricon?, and Geelong are pretty *smile*

fellas,

My big play for the year is Tigers Highest Vic side (H&A) taken preseason @$5

Its my whole punting season really

I was feeling smug a fortnight ago, but The *smile* Dees are rocking my world.

Now I can get them on the same bet @ $2.5 to save,

but heres the thing.

I think Dees and WC are peaking early, like a white man in a 10,000m race, while we are like an Ethiopian.

and the idea of backing the dees to achieve anything makes me :vomit.

I guess what Im seeking, is some reassurance to hold the line. Just a little steadier.

Sorry not going to give you comfort.

A word of warning.

Melbourne pretty much stopped me betting AFL other than a few little nibbles.. 1996 and 1998 had what was at the time massive $200 bet from me for tiges to make the eight. .

Both round 22 games involving Melbourne of both seasons scarred me forever. Went to both of them. Double wallet and heart torture.

Thanks for the reply RE, but I'll wait till someone agrees with me ;D :fing32

$2.50 is too short for Melbourne. They are flavour of the month, at full strength and have questionable depth.

Hold the line.

Agree they are peaking early, it is brilliant really.

No pressure on tigers at all, everyone raving about dees making football attractive again, the west coast talls being too good....blah blah.

Tigers running at about 60% ATM. Dusty only does what he has to and no Rioli has a big impact on forward pressure.

Hopefully a wet winter/spring, lock in top spot if that occurs.

its a very competitively priced and long acting bet. ;D

its going to be critical to focus on the original stake, rather than the cumulative, in order not to blink.

So I've kept it going, including the away NM game. However, I had assumed we'd beat St.Kilda by a lot, and Essendon would be done over by GWS. I rolled it all on to a $1.08 * $1.21 Rnd 10 - 11 bet. Spewing, a single H-H bet now is $1.37.

Anyway, roll on winter, roll on.

Ive got us tonight in the 2nd leg of an 8 leg tiger-multi, in Melbourne @ 40-1

I try not worry about odds fluctuations after ive bet.

win happy, lose sad.

Couldn't handle the weight of Spook and Leysy's money.
I blame Leysy. ;D

Made it all back and plenty more loading up on North: H2H, over 24.5, over 39.5. My version of the ratchet.

Giants win breathes life into our Tiges-GWS quinella.

beat me to it.

hard to swallow, barracking for the giants, but the crows helped the medicine go down

we are 4 wide and pulling like an arthritic priest, but oddly balanced :don't know

thats textbook ratcheting.

Not normally one to gloat without pre-lodging the punt,

but, i am quite proud of my deft little collect on the giants last night at odds. ;D

funny you should say that.

I think im going to have a chunk of Cotchy brownlow.

No votes on Saturday, but I expect him to move to 16 votes on Friday.

A proven vote getter too easy, i like it.

$2.85 the Roos to beat the cats is enticing.

So for those of us with a fiscal interest in GWS figuring in the finals.

they are 1/2 a game out of the 8 and with games against GC and Brisbane next 2, they should be entrenched in the 8 in a fortnight.

They have certainly blown Top 4, but with Greene and Scully back in July, they should give us a bit more of a run for our money I reckon.

They have a really tough draw now I look at it.

they definitely showed some ticker last night.

However Patton and Lobbe continue to make Tyrone Vickery look like Nic Natanui.

Talk about land of the long white cloud with a long silver lining?

Dusty out and the bookies wind us out to $2,

offering the bet of the year.

Its going to be a very heavy track after an inch of rain

and AA Caddy will just swagger into the middle (and hopefully Dannyboy up forward)

and against Port in a slog, I just cant see us losing.

Im declaring this the bet of the year*. Think I'll ratchet up to +40

*note: subject to us not bringing Miles in.
