Its a shame you can't bet week to week on BB as I know who's getting the Khyber every week, but they only take bets for the winner.

Bubbles, Centrebet have a market for each weeks eviction and the Friday night game winner.  Dean is currently $1.50 to go this week but I reckon  Rita is just as likely.  You can get big odds on Kate or Tim.

Excellent.

Perhaps best if I PM or text you some further details.

I don't do those disposal bets impact but a good mate has some sucess with them.I'd incluse North at the TD in your highs impact.Hawthorn have a habit of being blown away and north love TD.

I'm thinking Richmond under 39 arent a bad bet this week.Norm short has them at 3.20 currently, seems a bargain. For some reason this year i seem to have the Tiges well pegged for the 1st time in years.Only got them wrong once against Adelaide.

Looks like it's going to rain, after seeing us play in the rain last week I feel it's a pretty big advantage to us.Inside I reckon Tuck and Cogs are right there with Lenny and Ball.

Thinking Geelong will bounce back this week.Port are soft, especially in the rian and it's at unskilled stadium.Significant ins for Geelong including Ling.

Rich under 39  Geelong under 39--3.20*2.45 seems like value

Thoughts.

I really like the Cats as well Evo, think they look a good punt.
They do have a good home ground advantage down there.

Not as confident on the tiges, after our last 20 yrs I think thats ingrained in us  :'(   although as you say the rain will help.

Whats everyone's thoughts on the ashes series & more particularly individuals that will do well/fail. Think Trescothick & Clarke will struggle.

I will be having a good punt on betfair & will take some spreads at one of the websites below.

take a look at teams scores against the crows this year http://www.footyform.com.au/adelvwbulllast10.htm doubt the bullies will score under 75 as they usually do but after being flogged this week might make for an interesting bet

my new and updated high lows...

after looking at sides and weather form ect ect.... i got:

22133 95 ADELAIDE-ST KILDA
22132 40 ADELAIDE-RICHMOND
22131 68 ADELAIDE-PORT ADELAIDE

22933 105 KANGAROOS-ST KILDA
22932 45 KANGAROOS-RICHMOND
22931 60 KANGAROOS-PORT ADELAIDE

can any of you lads get into betfair, I'm having problems

not on the 1st day of the Ashes................NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!

Who's having a bet on the ashes? I'm going to have something on Martyn for most runs for the ashes and something on Brett Lee for most wickets. Both are longshots but it will keep the interest up for the series.

I haven't tried today but apparently they were doing another minor upgrade. You''ll probably have noticed that Aust was missing from the drop down menu at the top. Hopefully that will be rectified.

As for betting on the ashes, rain predicted Sunday but fine up until then. I reckon Aust to win the first test is the go. Took $2.10, not sure what it is now.

any idea for some ashes betting lads?

I'm all ears.

I reckon Vaughan is due to make some big numbers with the bat.

ooh aahh to be the form bowler.

Like mainlandy's idea to back someone for the batting and bolwing for the series. gives a bit of long term interest. as to who to back, I'm not sure. Langer to outscore Hayden at evens also looks appealing (though I think that's ony for the first innings)

Not overly keen on Ashes betting.
Would maybe have a small piece of Harmison for most wickets perhaps??

I might even have a little on the Poms for the series, they've gotta win a series eventually don't they?

I will,Harmison looms the biggest threat to our batsmen. In the 1 dayers I didn't think Aussie batsmen looked totally comfortable with him apart from the last game where Gilchrist took to him. He's the real deal not convinced England's other bowlers are.

heres my crack at high-low this week

Highs - Saints, Cats, Port

Lows - West Coast (u heard right), Hawks, Tigers and Roos ;)

and who ever said harmison for most wickets hats off to you he took 5 fa

Thought I'd better bring this thread back up,

Whats the punters thoughts on the Ashes series??, cricket is prob my fav sport to punt on & Leysy thinks there will some great betting opportunities.

for those with a betfair acc, keep your eye on the draw for the 1st test, it is currently at $2.75.

IMO this should be around 5 or 6/1,  both teams strengths lie in the bowling & Aus very rarely draw.    I will wait till closer to the match re weather etc,  but laying this looks a great bet.

When we get closer to the 1st test will elaborate further, but there looks to be some excellent bets laying a couple of batsmen to fail during the series, namely Trescothick & Michael Clarke.  will prob use betfair or a spreadbetting bookie for these.

I love punting the cricket & think you can make some good money out of it.

As per above, I have layed the draw for a V good result at around $2.80.
It should be about 10,000-1 now.  These two teams will hardly ever draw IMO.

Trescothick & Clarke failed as well for me, Leysy will profit for every run below 350 & 310  respectivaly they finish on for the series, neither will get anywhere near that IMO, Clarke looked very fidgety & not confident & Hodge could take his place shortly.

I liek Geraint Jones as a batsmen for the Poms, have backed him to do well.
Also had a little wager on him at the TAB yesterday for him to be leading scorer in 1st Inns for England at $17.
Jones scored 30, Peterson is currently on 29. what odds they knock him over in the 1st over tonight. :hihi

Those who backed Harmo & Mcgrath for most wickets have had a nice little start as well, good luck.

geeze Mcgrath ripped into em eh.

Interesting 1st day.

Seems like there will be result at least.

I backed the Poms to win. :-[

Yes solid start for me too on the ashes.

Langer easily accounted for the out of form Hayden - might follow up on that whenever the head to head is offered.

I've backed the aussies so woke up to good news after feeling a bit sick after the tea break. One of us will have a win evo.

Agree leysy, the Aussies are simply a result team. Why anyone would back the draw in their tests is a msytery.

Disappointed I didn't take ooh ah for the wickets. Few tests to go yet I guess.
